Our Love

Penelope is a 23 year old woman. She is currently studying at a University for her bachelor's degree. She has a boyfriend named Noah. She is called Pen for short.

She lives with her sister Brook. Her sister's family consists of Brook, brook's husband Raul, 12 year old daughter(Aria), 9 year old son(Aaron). Raul has a brother named Roy. He sometimes visits his niece and nephew.

Its Sunday and Roy is visiting them.
"Hi Roy."says Pen.
"Hello there Pen, doing fine?"
"Yes I'm fine. Visiting Aria and Aaron?"
"Who knows I might be visiting you."
They both laugh.
Aria and Aaron come out and play with their uncle. Penelope stares at them playing.
"Pen, me and Raul are heading out can you watch over the kids and house."speaks Brook nodding at Roy. "Sure sis go ahead."replies Pen. "Pen I want to eat fries."says Aaron. "Cook it yourself you idiot."Aria speaks. "Ok ok we will cook together guys stop fighting."says Pen.
A while later four of them are in the kitchen. Pen is cutting fries and Roy is frying them. Aria says,"Pen I'm going to play I'm bored." "Ok don't get hurt and don't fight with Aaron.""Sure."
Aria and Aaron leave the kitchen.
Now it was Roy and Pen all alone in the kitchen. Roy adds a new batch of fries to deep fry. "So how is your study going?"asks Roy. "It's fine I guess."replies Pen. "What about your boyfriend?" Roy asks. "Well that's an unexpected question. But, we are still the same as usual, boring. I wanna break up but we aren't on bad terms."says Pen sighing.
Roy suddenly moves and lock the door. He pushes Pen to the wall and says,"If you're over that dumb ass you can be with me instead." Pen could feel her face burning. It's true that they had been flirty but this was bold. "I can't what are my sis and your brother gonna say?"Pen speaks with a small voice. "They're gonna say we fell in love. What else?"says Roy. "But we-" Pen tries to speak but Roy keeps his hands in her mouth and hugs her. Then he plants a small kiss in her cheek. Just as Roy was separating with Pen he saw Aria looking at them from the window. As soon as he looks she runs away. Pen and Roy fall into a panic. They open the locked door and get back to cooking. After a while, the four of them are watching TV while eating fries. Aria has been acting normal. Evening arrives soon and Pen sends the kids to complete their homework.
After the kids go to their room, Roy locks the living room door and gets inside the blanket with Pen while watching TV. He hugs her tight. "Roy are we really doing this." Pen asks. "If you don't object." Roy says.
He takes his hand to her chest and ceresses it. They kiss and strip as the TV is still on. Roy kisses Pen on the neck and gives her a few hickeys. They do everything silently as the kids are still in the other room. After a while they finally finish. They dress up and Roy goes out. He waves the kids goodbye and leaves.

A few months later no word of theirs has been brought up. Neither has Aria asked anything.
But they were too afraid to be open with their love. Penelope loved every part of Roy. His flirtatious nature, his body, his humour and his everything. They were happy together like a perfect couple but neither wanted to talk to the family about their love. So, they stayed silent only hooking up every few chances they would get.

A few years passed and Pen had married Noah for a secure future. Roy had been dating. They went their own ways. Neither was happy but they buried their feelings deep and appeared as relatives with a good friendship.
This is it this it. Their story from the perspective of Aria who had caught on to everything. Aria still wonders if they would've made the perfect couple if they showed a bit of courage.
Brook and Raul would have no objection as they married from love. So, a small cowardice let this impending perfect love to end. And Pen's husband has also been deceived and is living a fake life.
