Chapter 9

Chaeryeong wake up early, get ready to prepare everything she needs for interview today.

She look at the mirror, today she looks feminine because she wants to look good for the interview.
She wants to take this seriously because it's once in a lifetime opportunity like this coming into her life

A little red lipstick on her lips and put mascara on her eyelashes. After satisfied with her look she's smiling. She need her confidence for the interviews

And one of the reason she wake up early, she need to go to see her grandma first. Almost everyday she will visit her grandma before going to work.
She will not waste the efforts of her grandma who sent her from elementary school until she gets to university

It's true what her grandmother said. After her grandmother left, only herself and the supply of knowledge that she has learned all this time will be her companion to live alone in this world

She's no one else anymore and she needs to fight alone

Chaeryeong arrived at the destination

"Errm good morning. I came here for the interview. Ms ryujin, is she here?" Chaeryeong asked the receptionist

"Are you Ms chaeryeong?"

"Yes I am"

"Ms ryujin already informed me to let Ms Chaeryeong to wait inside her office"

"Oh ok thank you"

After saying thanks chaeryeong step into the office

After waiting for like almost half in hours, someone open the door. Ryujin step in. Two eyes looking at each other.

Ryujin looked at her with a thousand thoughts. Without saying any words with each other, ryujin take a seat

Chaeryeong suddenly feel a bit of nervous. No it's not because of the interviews or the  atmosphere in here but because of the person who seat in front of her.

Ryujin's character is very difficult to read. She's not like her cousin yeji who's more friendly and love to smile with the others

Ryujin just looked at her without saying anything and that's makes her feel unsure what to say

"What can you give to the company if i accepted you to work in here?"

The first question ryujin said to her

"My hardworking, my idea and my energy"

"But I want more than that" 

Chaeryeong was surprised for a moment

"What do you means?"

Chaeryeong asked back

"What can you give me in return if i accept you to work here?"

Her brows furrowed into one. What kind of questions ryujin saying this to her? Is this kind of the interview these days?

"I want to be accepted to work in here because of my qualifications"

Chaeryeong stand firm

"You don't have a choice but accepted the help from the others. Are you sure you can do it?"

Chaeryeong gasped

"I know who I am. Maybe I really need a job but I also need my employer to respect my feelings as a human being. And I don't think I can work with an employer who is only think about herself superior and selfish. Thank you for the interview"
