Pedri

Arriving home after training is literally the best feeling ever. Just knowing I can jump into bed right now and sleep until tomorrow after the harsh training, especially towards me for my burst out on the pitch yesterday, is amazing.

Until I remember I have a seven year old in the house I promised to take care of. It's fine though, we can just play video games together. What kid wouldn't want to play on a play station for hours?

I unlock the door with my keys and walk in, alone. Pablo went to his apartment for once. But don't worry, he's just getting some stuff before coming back.

"Hi." I yell out to whoever's home. I drop my keys in the bowl next to the entrance and keep my shoes at the door before making my way in.

There's no response so I assume they're just upstairs. I'm not sure who's home but Paul should be. Olive asked me yesterday morning if I could watch over him since she was going out to get some stuff.

I don't know if she's still here or if Isa's here instead. I enter the kitchen to grab a cup of water. Gulping the cold water down, I make my way out and upstairs.

Passing by the living room, I find no one. I go up the stairs. "Hey!" I yell again but no response. I question it a little but don't overthink too much.

I head to my room and drop my bag on the floor right next to the door. I walk to the others room. Searching the three rooms, I find no one.

I don't panic and take my phone out, opening the group chat Isa created for the four of us.

where r u guys?

gavi: home, i already told u

isabel: oh yeah, sorry forgot to tell u
i took paul with me to the supermarket

yeah, all i wanted to know

I turn my phone back off, worry-less over Paul's whereabouts. A little about Liv since she didn't even receive the messages but I'm sure her phone's just out of battery or she doesn't have network right now.

Since Isa took Paul out of my care for a little, I have a little time for myself to relax. I head to the shower first.

A cold shower is just what I need. I used to hate them. But since they reduce inflammation and speed up the recovery of muscles, I haven't had a warm shower in years.

I walk to my bathroom, strip off my clothes, and turn the shower as cold as it can go.

Getting Pedri out of my mind since last night has been my number one mission. Yet, I have failed to achieve it over and over again.

To the point where he's even made an appearance in my dream. It wasn't much though. Started out with me at the office and somehow ended with the two of us at my old school. Don't even ask what happened in between. Too many weird scenarios that none make any sense.
