Rooftop to rooftop, the four mutants moved across the top of buildings with stealth. Donatello glanced down as he skateboarded across the building's roof and watched the cars underneath him on the road.

Raphael grunted with every jump. He and his older brother, Leonardo, competed as they leaded across the buildings. Raphael had determination to beat his brother to the Channel 6 rooftop.

The two oldest brothers stopped in their tracks once they saw the youngest of the four, Michelangelo, standing on the Channel 6 rooftop. His stance was almost like a superhero.

Mad that he didn't get there first, Raphael deeply groaned with annoyance clouding his mind. "Aright, guys. We're here for serious matters. Don't screw up. Now we need to look for the Footbots!"
Leo grasped his hand around Raph's bicep. Raph could feel his brother's fingers penetrating his skin and he quickly pulled away. Leo stood his ground, staring into the red-masked turtle's eyes with an unreadable face, "Since when did you become the leader of this group?!" He snapped. A sudden gush of harsh wind hit all four of the brothers, distracting them from the argument.

"Guys. Not now. You can continue your stupid rivalry at home." Donnie gritted his teeth and pushed past his two older brothers. He then dropped his skateboard onto the concrete of the rooftop. Mikey made his way down to his older siblings. A large smile spread across his face, from one ear to the other.

"What are you so happy about, Angelo? We're here for serious matters!" Leo warned.

"Yeah. Wipe that stupid smile off of your face." Raph face palmed before leaving the oldest and youngest together.

Before Mikey could backtalk, the sound of scattering came from the shadows of the building. All of the turtles reached for their weapons.

Leo gripped tightly onto his katana's handles before sliding them out from behind his shell. He held the two swords in front of himself in a protective stance. Donnie and Raph both grasped onto their weapons, ready to attack. Mikey's nun-chucks dangled from his grip. He squinted his eyes, scanning for any movements or outlines of figures that may be hiding in the shadows.

Out from the darkness, a dart flew out and hit the youngest brother's leg. He groaned upon impact. Grogginess came over his body and he couldn't find the strength to stand straight. He wobbled around and took a few limp steps before the ledge of the building met his feet, causing him to topple over. He felt himself tripping but he couldn't break his fall. The last thing he saw was Leo dropping his katanas in order to attempt to save his brother from continuing to fall— but he didn't make it in time. Mikey heard the echoes of his brothers screaming his name as he plunged for the ground below him.

Michelangelo hit the ground with a huge impact. A loud crack escaped his body. It didn't come from his neck though. It was from his shell. Mikey let out a loud and pain-filled groan. The dart was still punctured in his thigh. Around the needle was a large, purple and blue bruise that spread across his whole upper leg.
He sharply inhaled while glancing up at the top of the building that he had just fallen off. The building was more than 5 stories high.

The only reason why Mikey was still barely alive was because of his shell and how it took most of the impact upon meeting the ground— which, it was now critically damaged.

The dart drugged Mikey with a heavy dosage and he wasn't able to move his limbs. He could only look around.

He felt the sensation of warm tears beginning to bubble in his eyes. He hated the feeling of not having control of his being, and much worse, the pain that surged through his body was unbearable.

"MICHELANGELO!!" He heard his name being yelled out from the direction of the ladders that was attached to the side of the building. The young turtle couldn't move his head to see who it was, but the voices all sounded familiar. His brothers all frantically made their way down from the building. They all froze in panic when laying their eyes on their baby brother's body.

"No... No! NO!" Leo screamed as he was the first to break the standstill. After a few unstable running steps, his legs gave out and he collapsed right next to Mikey.

The other two bothers sprang into action as they followed after their older brother. Raph began to spit out panicked questions to Donnie, who was observing the damage, trying his hardest not to move the broken boy's body.

Mikey started to feel the doubts lingering in this mind as hazy darkness covered his vision.
'What if I don't make it?'
'I never got to tell my family goodbye'
'Where will I go after I die...?'

His thoughts then faded away in a mist.

His body slowly shut down and he fell into a coma-like state.
