Goody Addams x fem OC

Chapter 10

I dedicate this chapter to my bunny Pufi, who died 3 weeks ago. He lived for 7 years and I loved him very much.

After we had completed our challenging tasks of the day, Goody and I made our way to the breathtaking flower garden. Amidst all the stunning flowers, the roses caught my eye; they were my favourites above any other. I watched as Goody began to water the blooms. 

"Do you need help?" I asked

Goody noded and smile 

''God I love her smile'' I say in my head.

I take a bucket and start to water the plants too 

''Do you take care of the plants all by yourself?'' I ask her ''yes my mother helps me when she can but I usually do this alone''

 ''they are beautiful'' Goody smiles

''Why do you work for Crackstone?" I ask her. Her expression changes "Can we not talk about this ". I hear the pain in her voice, I nod and smile. 

I take her hand "Sure, how about we cook a meat pie ,I'm very hungry" Goody smiles "Yes, I'm very hungry too, I think there's some meat left over from Crackstone's dinner, we can use that'' We got in the house, it was very late so we had to light out the candles .We were in the kitchen 

''Where is Rosa?'' I ask Goody 

''I don't know''

We haven't seen Rosa in a day or two, and that was a bit odd since usually she was in the kitchen cooking. She'd continue cooking and making dinner even if she was tired, so not having dinner ready last night was strange.It was slightly worrying not to see her around, though I tried brushed off the concern. After all, she could just be out doing some more work that Crackstone put her to do,I swear he dosen't give us any brakes. However, the longer she wasn't around the more the worry began to nag in the back of my mind.

''Goody should we try  look for her?''

Goody looks at me,then she dose a face like she remembered something

''My mom said she was going to my aunt funeral I think Crackstone let her go but put more work on us'' I nod.That's a relief.I love Rosa she is like a second mother to me,she is always so caring and nice

''I am sorry for your loss''

''I didn't even meet her so it's ok'' I smile at Goody

''ok ,so what do we do now''

''Well it's time for my story with Mrs.Valeria''

''Who?'' I ask.Goody looks at me wierd 

''Mr Crackstone's wife'' 

''I never seen her before?''I say.

''She dosen't get out of her room she is very sick Mr Crackstone never let's her leave the room''

I was a little shocked that Mr Crackstone somehow managed to conceal his wife."She really is that ill?" I say to Goody, unable to hide my surprise at the information. "He really keeps her locked up in her room that much? No wonder he never talked about her, doesn't want people knowing he's keeping a sick person locked up in their room 24/7"

''I don't say it's the best idea but it's the safest'' Goody sights.I raise my eyebrow in surprise, not expecting her to be defending the choice. "How is it the safest?" I ask, trying to understand her reasoning. "That's not like to be a great experience for the wife, being trapped in one place, 24/7 and not being able to leave''
