Lavender And Vanilla A Wonderful Scent

Just as Dogday had promised he took me up to The Playtime Area to meet Huggy Wuggy and to our surprise Kissy Missy was up there too, we had courted the lovely couple snuggling in the Gift Shop. Poppy had a little table set up for her and was colouring, actively ignoring the snuggling couple and humming a soft tone to herself.

“Heya guys and Poppy, whatcha up to?” 

Huggy was the one to look up and see Dogday and I standing there, Dogdays tail was wagging so fast I took a step to the side just in case he flew off. Huggy waved at me and I offered a little wave back, smiling and wrapping my tail around Dogdays leg, to which he used my tail to yank me closer and wrap me in a big Vanilla and Honey scented hug.

“And we were just…… waiting for you guys I think?”

Huggy replied, looked down at his pink counterpart for confirmation to which she nodded  and rubbed her head against his chest then a purring sound of sorts came from her as her smile grew.

“May I ask who this is Dogday, it’s unlike you to forget to introduce your friend. Especially one you seem so attach to”

Poppy said giggling in a girlish way as she got up from her colouring in and walked over to the edge of the counter, she looked at me closely, I know Poppy was one of the many faces of Playtime CO. I also knew that she reggily got away with things no other toy could get away with which made her the main topic of discussion within the toy community. It wasn’t that case in the Playcare mainly because none of the smiling critters liked Miss Playtime but for all the other floors Miss Playtime was all they could talk about.

“Oh silly me, this is Catnap, the newest Smiling Critter and a good friend of mine. Though his voice box is still not working very well so he doesn't talk very much and if he does he stutters a fair bit so please excuse him”

I nodded as if backing up what he said then looking around at the three toys that were in the room, they all nodded and said they wouldn’t laugh at my stuttering and that Kissy Missy also couldn't talk very well so Huggy did most of the talking for her. Which I thought was very sweet and something I hadn’t expected, sure they were made for each other in every way apparently while they were both in the Playcare before becoming bigger bodies they didn’t get along very well, and many of the other toys thought it would be the same once thing once they were made into bigger bodies and put together but no. 

“Well now-”

Poppy said, clapping her hands and demanding attention, honestly for a doll all dressed in blue and about the size of a human baby of that she sure was bussy and I had only known her for… less the a minute damn.

“Since we’re all here and accounted for… the important toys anyways, lests get started theres no need to wait for those god forsaken teachers. God knows there always-”

“Punsol and on time thank you very much Miss Playtime!”

Miss Melody and Miss Delight said rounding the corner, Delight looked less then impressed with how Poppy was Just talking about the two of them whereas Melody had a very frem hand on Delights shoulder and looked a little neverious. Not because Delight looked as though she was about to throw hands with Poppy but because she was trying to keep her own announce to herself.

“Now, now dear. Lest not get into a fight so early in the morning I’m pretty sure that Miss Poppy meant well in what she was saying”

Delight turned to looking at melody like she had grown two heads, her skin was purple with pink polka dots and was dancing to conger, which honesty would be hilarious and would have me bent over or on the floor, rolling around in laughter.
