Cleaning my room is the only thing that makes me feel like a headache. I was on the coach, folding my clothes. Since steve will be busy packing all his stuff, I have decided my today's schedule,Once I've folded all the clothing,I'll be off to bed.

The phone rang. leaning over to pick it up from the table, I found out it was my mother's.

"Hello! Mom."
"Oh, sweetheart. "How are you doing?"
"I'm pretty good,"
"So sorry, my love,I couldn't call you earlier."
"Mum, it's alright. How's grandfather's new florist shop going?" I asked.
"How did you know about-"
I interrupted her in the middle,"Grace told me."

After a long conversation, she hangs up the call. Talking with mom made me feel relief. I went to bed.
Somewhere, I was waiting for Steve to make a call. It's close to eleven; I think I'm going to skip lunch today because I have no required groceries left. I untied my hair, grabbed a pillow, and laid down on the bed.

Daisy, Hello! Are you there?" I could hardly open my eyes when I heard someone at the door calling for me. I tried to check the clock as I got out of bed and saw that it was closer to five. Oh dear! Oh my, I slept for ages.
I shout as I rush down.

"Yes. Coming..."

As I opened the door, my eyes widened. The only question floating in my head was, 'What he's doing here?'. Steve was standing in front of my door with a bouquet of tulips. It was damn pretty; I couldn't take my eyes out of them.

"Is it okay for me to enter? If it's okay with you." While he was brushing his hair and raising his eyebrows, I couldn't help but stare at him. He gestured with his hand.

"Daisy? Are you present?" He gestured with his hand.
"Huh? Yes, please come-in."
He kissed my forehead after giving me the bouquet. I went inside after him.

"You still have this?" He asked, lifting up the plush. I approached him closely.
"Yeah, it's special; how can I lose it?"
"Yes, as special as you are to me." Keeping the plush aside, he perched on the coach.
"And more special like you." I answered.

He grabbed an apple from the table.
"Dress up; we are going out."
"Is it a date?" I asked before going to change.
He winked. "You'll know it later, kind of."

I turned around. "And, did you packed already?" My voice lowed.
Keeping aside the apple,he came close to me and held my hand. I could feel the warmth of his fingers. "Yeah, done..."

                            ..................

To match Steve's shirt, I selected the tattersall, vanilla-colored frock with sandals.
He was wondering in every corner of my flat while I was changing. I went to him.

"Does it look fine?"
"You look beautiful, like a tiny butterfly."
"Ahhh-huh... that's too much; I just wanted to make a little match." We just started with each other. "Let's go," he said.

We visited Tivoli, a place I had never been before. It is the ideal spot to spend an evening and it looks fantastic. The personnel was nice. We got tacos and burgers from the patio, which has a lovely view of Cambridge; I had a great time playing mini golf with his assistance.

He enquired, "Are you enjoying it?"
I told him, staring into his eyes, "I'm loving it."
I briefly had the impression that we still had a lot of days left, like today.

Never in my life, I have imagined a date like this. There was no specific venue or romantic atmosphere for us. Everything about it was ordinary and casual. But having someone so devoted to you makes it more exciting. I cherished each and every moments.

"Should we head to home now?" I asked.
"Not yet,There's one last thing"
'One last thing' I repeat. "What's that?"
