Chapter Three
After a while we finally walked into the meeting, my mates still surrounding me, we were told to go stand at our places with our packs, but my alpha's didn't budge. Jack, our beta, Claires best friend, walked up smiling politely to the alphas surrounding her
"Sorry Alpha's but we need Claire to come stand with us, it would be much appreciated if you would let her come with me, she is one hundred per cent safe over with her father and I, I promise you" He said, Claire smiled at jack and started walking towards him when one of her alpha's grabbed her arm and growled looking towards Jack, Claire turned and met her alpha's brown eyes, so soft yet so hard at the same time.
"I'm not allowing you to go with an un-mated male "he'd growl, this is where a frown lit up her face and she dragged her arm away from him and stood beside jack.
"No one orders me around, stand with your pack and let me be with mine." She stated firmly, she felt a pang in her chest saying it so harshly to her mate but being commanding, demanding and stubborn would be the only way she got her way, with that said, they growled but didn't try grabbing her again to stop her, Although as she headed towards her pack she felt there piercing gazes on her back until she stopped to stand beside her father, they eventually parted ways to go sit in there assigned seats. Claire sat there during the whole meeting, staring at her hands or her feet, she could feel their eyes watching her and it kind of made her wish she had worn something a little more.. sexy, instead of her usual jeans and a shirt. As soon as the meeting was over she rushed out of the building and took a large breathe of fresh air before feeling arms wrap around her from behind, instead of flinching with fear like a normal person would do, the scent that enveloped her had her closing her eyes sinking back into his arms instead or moving away.
She got lost for a moment before she opened her eyes and began blushing, she cleared her throat before politely stepping away, she felt a wave of col run through her body and she shivered slightly, her wolf whimpering inside her at the sudden loss of warmth. Claire kept my gaze away knowing she would get lost in his eyes if she didn't,
"Hello Alpha, is there something I can assist you with?" She asked still keeping my head down in a respectful manor, trying to relax her breathing that seemed to be slightly out of wack.
"For starters, love, you do not need to call me Alpha, my name is Adrian Coroves, very, very nice to meet you" He said flashing her a brilliant smile, Claire lifted her head and her eyes roamed over him, he was tall, probably around 5.9, He had black hair and green eyes, he was beautiful and my eyes met his soft kissable lips, unable to stop herself from lingering there for maybe just a moment to long and he groaned.
"I will try my hardest to keep my hands to myself, but Claire if you keep looking at me like that I can't promise anything" he said, his eyes flicking from black to green and back again, he was fighting control with his wolf, quite frankly, she thought she was too, her wolf wanted her to find the next closet and well.. You know, but Claire was stronger than her wolf and pushed her down.
"Claire, Are you ready to leave?" Jacks voice came from behind us, Adrian growled and turned to face him
"Where are you taking her?" He growled out, his body turning stiff again.
"uh..Home, Sir" Jack said looking over Adrian towards Claire
"She not moving from my site" He growled protectively, Claire sighed and grabbed his arm to sooth his wolf and calm him down
"Look Adrian, Home calls, I'm needed and must go" her heart tightened as she said she had to go, she didn't want to leave her mate and her wolf was whimpering inside her head, She heard five audible growls sound around her
"We are coming too" her alpha's said in unison
"Get your father to grant us permission on your land" Adrian said and Claire stood there shocked; there was no way they could have five alphas on their land! Their putting their packs in danger!
"That will not be necessary boys, I'm sure you have things to attend to at home.." She said,trying to be reasonable even though everything inside her was screaming the oppostie. They all didn't budge, a boy with blue eyes stood forward, he had dark brown hair and was just as hot as Adrian, damnit they were all gorgeous!
"Look Claire, it is really confusing, we know you know that we are your mates, now that we have found you, it tearing at us because we're alpha's and must return to our packs later, but none of us can take you without getting into a fight with the other, At least let us get permission for us to make sure you get home safe, please." He said looking into my eyes, Claire looked down and nodded slightly, her father would not like this one bit.
"Okay... I'm sorry that this has happened, I know it must be just as hard as it is for me for you boys as well" She said before turning and walking towards her fathers car, she had a few words with her father before he finally agreed to letting them onto our land, It was around 1 Pm now and father said they can stay for dinner and stay over the night but they must return home in the morning, the boys all smiled at this before walking off to their cars to follow us back to our home town.
Claire sat in the back of the car, lost in thought, how had this day turned so crazy? how the hell was she going to manage 5 mates? 5 Alpha mates at that! She groaned and sunk in her seat a little, her body swirling with all sorts of emotions
Claire was so lost in thought that when a loud bang sounded and all of a sudden our car was in the air, the last thing she heard were screams, and she was pretty sure they were her own.
