Chapter 3

---Brigs---

Brigs woke up to the sound of his alarm screaming in the room, he hit it three times then it stopped, then he stood up to go freshen up in the bathroom after he was done he went downstairs his four storey mansion. As the alpha's son he got that kind of quirk. When he got down, his mum (The luna) was already in the kitchen making breakfast.

"Morning Mom, wheres Dad" he greeted, "oh he's off to his office at the pack house" his mum replied, "oh...." was what he could say after. His mother dished his food in a plate and served it to him, "hmm this is good Mother" he said trying to lighten the mood but there was no response from his mother.

"So how are you feeling" she asked suddenly, "how, I don't understand" he answered with his mouth full "you know the whole loosing your soulmate and all. Ya know, the mate bond is the most strongest bond between two living beings, I cant imagine the amount of pain you went through" she said looking at him the eyes.

After a few seconds he says "ill live, if you look at the bright side I wouldn't have to go through marriage i'm only nineteen" he tried to lighten the mood again. "Nonsense, a mating ceremony is held so you can officially mark your partner and be known forever as each others mates, not  that you are getting married. you still have a lot to learn before marriage.............I thought I told you these things before, have you not learned" she said.

"I have actually, because you have only repeated it two hundred times", his mother rolled her eyes then looked at the clock in the kitchen "Let me not keep you waiting you have school to go to"with that he left the house.

His first class in school was english and the teacher had already started by the time he got the class."welcome alpha" the teacher greeted "good morning teacher" he greeted back, then he walked to a sit at the back, as he sat down he felt like someone was staring at him so he scrutinized the whole class only to find Jake looking straight at him.

He had three class with with Jake so he was bound to see him, anytime any day. The stare from Jake didn't stop and he got fed up so he called him out in class to stop it. Jake did stop only to do the same thing the next class they had together, it was really starting to bug him.

When the third class which was biology was over, the closing bell rung and he saw Jake leaving the class extremely fast which just made things weirder. Eager to end the weird day fast he went to his locker to drop his things so he would be on his way home before the day's training session started.

After unlocking the code to his private locker, he took out his phone from the locker and dropped all his textbooks and notebooks inside. As he was about to go he noticed a sticky note pasted to the side of the locker and he he removed it to trash it as he doesn't like dirty lockers.

But it wasn't just there, it was pasted by someone because the person wrote him a note which said: 'Meet me at my house which is at no.28 fang street by 5.pm, we need to talk. P.S: I know you have a secret affair with someone' .

This troubled him so much, he didn't even wait any longer before leaving the school premises. By the time he got home, he went straight to shower, he needed to cool his head. After showering he picked his phone and punched in ten numbers he knew by heart before dialing, the phone rang twice then the other person picked.

"Hello Brigs, how are ya" the other person said "i'm not too fine, someone sent me a note claiming to know about what we have going on" Brigs panicked, "What!!, how does this person know we are in a relationship I thought we never see each other in school let alone even talk" the person rushed, he too sounding panicked.

"i'm also confused" Brigs replied "you have to see him and hear what he has to say love, i'll call you back I have to attend to something" and the line went dead. 

He took his car keys and left the house, minutes later he was in front of a small house that was in the middle of town only two streets from his house, it was a duplex painted deep blue on the walls and white on the porch. There were two minivan-car parked outside, this was a family house he thought.

He came out of his own car and locked it, He then walked to the front door and knocked.
