WHO KNEW A trip to lapland, finland could be so chaotic. it all started on tuesday afternoon, after the trio had eventually fallen asleep and reconvened in the "morning". it was 2pm. turns out, the ski trip was actually gonna happen, so after deciding who to invite with them, renting a lodge for the week, and packing all their snow gear and necessities, wednesday rolled around with max, danica, and lando on a plane to the land of snow.
danica brought her camera because she believed the ski trip would make the most perfect and funniest youtube video. per the request of the girl, lando had invited daniel ricciardo and martin garrix along as well. she had previous connections to daniel and martin through music, and hung out with them frequently. they were like the extended family of the friend group. daniel, lando, and danica were always causing mischief wherever they went together, whether that be the f1 paddock, or random celebrity parties they found themselves at. max was more chill on that front, not engaging as much in the pranks, which ended up making him the victim of most of them. he didn't really bat an eye at them anymore though.
max brought along his girlfriend, pietra, who danica recently met in person after talking to her online for years. she was absolutely lovely, and felt like an older sister figure to the girl. she was glad to have another girl in the group to hang out with, and she loved seeing max look all giddy and happy around her. at least one of the three of them had found a happy ending with love.
lando also invited both his friends louis and ash. they are a part of his creative team for his brand, and close buddies of his, along with danica and max, as they had filmed some things for quadrant with them before. it was the perfect dynamic of people, sure to make this video interesting.

a visibly empty staircase was in focus on the screen, as the video opened to the rented lodge. after a second, some clammering could be heard until danica appeared in the frame, lugging her snowboard down the stairs while being fully suited up in her gear, helmet, and goggles, struggling not to fall down the tiny stairs. she looked absolutely ridiculous, stopping dead in her tracks to stare at the camera.
"chat, i've been kidnapped and dragged here against my will, but that's besides the point. today i'm gonna be an absolute snowboarding god." danica says, motioning to her outfit.
a snort could be heard from out of frame, before a voice says, "you look fucking stupid right now i hope you know."
danica's jaw dropped dramatically, turning the camera to face none other than lando norris, who was hopping around, trying to find balance to put his other shoe on. "oof someone's projecting" she whispered to the camera, before kicking lando's leg to try to throw him off his balance, but he ended up toppling into the shoe rack, bringing the whole thing down with him. he stared back at danica before noticing the camera in her hand. danica spun around in a second running away in hysterics as lando chased her around the lodge trying to grab the camera. "DANICA REID I SWEAR IF YOU PUT THAT IN-"
