Starlight sleeping. Jesenia looking out the window with her double sided ax with her.
Jesenia: (Looking at her injury. Heavy sigh.) *Girls, Yone... I'm so sorry. I failed... My powers are gone and I don't how I'm gonna get them back.* (Sniffing.) *What is that smell? That's...blood?! Well, some of my powers haven't disappear.* (Went outside sneaky. See everything. Gasp.)
Tons of Ronin crashing the place and killing some people. Jesenia put her hoodie on and went downstairs.
Ronin #1: (See Jesenia.) Hey look. A young lady!
Ronin #2: Well, well, well. Look at this young lady. How about you come with us and we can be at your service?
Jesenia: Tch. You think? You're messing with the wrong person. (Unseal her double sided ax.)
Ronin #3: What the hell?!
Ronin #4: Who do you think you are? Trying to challenge us?!
Jesenia: Well, I do like a challenge. (Battle yell and started to combat with the Ronin.)
30 minutes have passed and all the Ronin's have been killed. Jesenia panting heavily, blood all over her and sealed her ax.
Jesenia: (Wiping the blood off.) That went well. (Panting. Place some money on the counter.) For the entire place. (Went back to her room.)
Shopkeeper: Thank you!
Jesenia: (Enter. Walk up to Starlight. See her still sleeping. Chuckled a little.) Oh, Starlight. how can you sleep through all that noise? You're definitely a mama's girl. (Caress Starlight's head.) My star... I promise the life you will have will be better than this. Rest easy, my baby. (Head to the bed and start to fall asleep.)
Morning.
Jesenia: (Exit the room with Starlight.) Lets get out of here. (Exit the inn. Heavy sigh.) Lets get something to eat and for you too, little girl. (See a restaurants. Enter.) Hi, a table for two please?
Owner: Of course, right over there. (Point to the table near the gate.)
Jesenia: Thank you. (Sit down. Rocking Starlight. Hear some people coming. Put her hoodie on. See them.) *The Shinsengumi. Thought I never seen them.*
Owner: Ah, Shinsengumi, please come in. Your spot is still in.
Kondo: Thank you. Lets eat. (Sit down with everyone. See Jesenia and Starlight.) *Who is she and the baby?*
Waiter: (Walk by Jesenia.) Can I get your order?
Jesenia: Yes, one ramen and a cup of milk for the baby.
Waiter: Of course. (Walk away.)
Starlight started to cry a little.
Jesenia: (Rocking her.) Shh~, shh~. It's ok, I got you baby. I got you. (Humming.)
Then Ronin came in. Jesenia stopped humming and look at them. Everyone started to gasp in fear.
Jesenia: (Place Starlight under the table. Sit back down. Grab a knife and hide it.) *Wait for the perfect moment.*
Ronin #5: Hey, give us some food and then give us some wine to drink.
Waiter: Uhm, uhm sure...
Jesenia: (Yawn.) Boring. Why do you take orders from those bastard?!
Ronin #6: Excuse me?! Who do you think you are talking to us like that?!
Ronin #7: You got a lot of nerve!
Jesenia: (Laughing.) Lots of nerves? (Laughing maniacally.) Lots of nerves, huh? (Grab the knife and her double sided ax.) The people who have a lot of nerves is you, damn Choshu. (Eyes darken and went insane.) Ever heard of the Gem Myths?
Ronin #8: What are you talking about?
Jesenia: (Giggling. Remove her hoodie.) General Jesenia Lanrigh, of the Gem Myths. Turquoise Hybrid. (Swinging her ax.) A pleasure. Now before I take your lives, tell me who send the location of my base and took my powers.
The Shinsengumi grab their sword and stand up. The Ronin back up in fear.
Jesenia: Well, you're not gonna tell me... Lets see who's first. Hm? (Thinking. Smile and then...) Ok, then. (Throw the knife to Ronin #5.)
Ronin #5: (Stab through the head and fell. Dead.)
Jesenia: Any day now, boys? (Circle them.) My patience is getting bad and I don't like it. So, tell me. Who told the location of my base?
Ronin #6: Uhm,... his name is Rex. He told us to kill everyone in the Gem Myths, grab your powers, and grab the baby of the general. But the baby was gone by the time we got to the house.
Ronin #7: He also told us that he pay us if we get the job done.
Jesenia: My ex-husband? (Laughing.) Thank you, boys. But... (Look at them with insane eyes.) I rather not have you all tell him that general survive!!! (Kill them all. Panting.)
Owner: Oh, thank you, General Turquoise Hybrid! For saving all of us! Thank you!
Jesenia: (Panting.) Anytime. (Walk to the table. Grab Starlight. Grab her food and exit the restaurants.)
Hijikata: (Looking at Kondo's face.) I think I know what you're thinking, Kondo-san.
Kondo: I know you do.
At Night. At the Street.
Rain started to pour. Jesenia and Starlight under the cover while sleeping.
Jesenia: (Hear something. Unseal her double sided ax and point at someone. See the person. Gasp.) Shinsengumi?
Kondo: (Holding an umbrella.) Yes, that's us. General Jesenia Lanrigh.
Jesenia: (Get up while holding Starlight.) General Isami Kondo. What are you doing here in the rain?
Kondo: Well, I was looking for you. I saw what you did this morning. And I heard what happen. I'm sorry for your loss.
Jesenia: It's ok. Is there another reason why you're here?
Kondo: Well, yes. I'm also here because I'm here to escort you to my base. You want revenge and peace from the Ronin. So do we.
Jesenia: ...(Holding Starlight closer to her.) I know that. But I can't do that if my daughter is here with me. Starlight deserve the world she gets.
Kondo: I agree. We can help you. If we eliminate the Ronin, we'll help you rebuild the Gem Myths and get your powers back.
Jesenia: (Gasp.) Why would you do that for me?
Kondo: I'm pretty sure you know that I'm divorce as well because of her.
Jesenia: I do know. If you do intend to get revenge, make peace, rebuilding the Gem Myths and getting my powers back from the Ronin, you already knows what happens when I get insane, just like what happen this morning.
Kondo: I know. I'm like that too. I know you know I'm a full-blood Lunari. We'll help you. With everything. You have my word. (Exchange his hand.) Please? For the sake of you and your daughter.
Jesenia: (Look at Starlight sleeping. Heavy sigh.) You better keep your promise. (Grab his hand.)
