"Summer!" Henry yells from the lounge room.

"What?" I became lost in her book once again and lost track of time. I look outside my window to see it's still dark. "This better be important" I yell back as I grab my phone and sees a message from mum

Gone out with Adam for the night, be back later

Alright, well that's where mum and Adam are and it explains why Henry is yelling from the lounge room. "SUMMER!" He yells louder. I go running into the lounge room thinking something is wrong, but I see Henry sitting on the lounge watching formula 1. Ah. Race weekend.

"Someone better have died or you're going to die for waking me up" Henry shrugs "I'm already dying anyway, so that's fine. Look" he says pointing at the tv. The race has been red flagged "what happened?" She says taking a seat next to her brother. "Max happened" he says as a reply starts on the tv.

The tv shows Max is ahead and Logan Sargent is exiting pit lane at speed and hits the side of Max causing him to flip and land upside down in the middle of the track. The next car, which looks to be Lando Norris, is braking and tries to avoid the mess but ends up hitting Max causing them both to spin, Maxs car still upside down. "Holy shit" escapes from my mouth. "Is he.. dead? I was only joking about someone better of died"

Henry shrugs "he hasn't gotten out. There hasn't been any movement when they cut the feed. They have been showing everyone going into the pits"

"The last time they cut the feed like that was when what's his names car was on fire and they couldn't see him.. ummm"

"Grosjean" Henry says

"Yeah him.. I really hope he's okay" the camera turns back onto the cars and you can see Lando Norris slowly getting out of his car and the radio message coming through "I tried to avoid him.. is he.. please tell me he's okay." You can hear Landos voice break and the sheer amount of panic. "no word yet, are you okay?" His race engineer replies.. "yeah.. I think so. Please make sure Max is okay" the feed goes black and goes to the presenters sitting at a desk.

"Some shocking scenes coming out of Jeddah with a devastating crash between Max, Logan and Lando. We are praying that all involved are okay, and we will bring you more details when we know. For now, some highlights from the race weekend so far" one of the presenters says as the feed goes and starts to show highlights from practice 1.

I slowly open my eyes to mum and Adam standing in front of me with their phones pointed towards us. I hears soft snores on her shoulder Henry. They must have fallen asleep waiting to hear about Max, The tv is still but is on silent, when a message comes across the screen.

Thank god. "How was your date?" I finally speak up. "It was good, lovely to have some alone time. But we should all be getting to bed" mum says "Adam"

"Yeah I've got him" Adam comes over to the sleeping boy on my shoulder and slowly picks him up. With how sick Henry is, he mustn't weigh more than 5okgs. Adam picks him up with ease and starts to make his way to Henry's room. I slowly get up and let out a big yawn "see you in the morning mum"
