The next morning Alyssa woke up her wound was healed so she decided she wanted to train to see if she can still be a barrel rider, she missed being one, so she got up and made the bed before grabbing clothes out of the cupboard. Alyssa went down to the kitchen to see two warm bottles already on the bench, she picked them up and then walked into the room the twins were in. She saw they were awake; she gave them both their bottles and they held the bottle themselves while Alyssa got their clothes out.

Eric and Isla finished their bottles and Alyssa got the bottles off them and picked Isla up and changed her nappy and dressed her.
Alyssa picked Isla up and carried them out of the room and down the stairs, Alyssa walked to the dining room and sat at the table where she met Monica, she was Kayce's wife and the mother of Tate. Monica offered to watch the twins while Alyssa and Chris worked, Chris saddled up Wildfeet while Alyssa saddled up Starlett and they went with the others to round up cows. After they finished working Alyssa put Starlett into the pen for her to cool down, she took the saddle off her and walked into the stables to get Orion out and saddled him up.
"Hey buddy you ready." Alyssa said.
Alyssa led Orion out and put him in one of the paddocks with dirt and put Orion in and he started running around while Alyssa walked over to Rip.
"Hey, Rip, do we have any barrels?" Alyssa said.
"Behind the stables. I will get the boys to bring them out for you." Rip said.
"Thank you Rip." Alyssa said.
Ryan, Jimmy, Lloyd and Colby brought four barrels to the paddock to see Alyssa sitting on Orion. Chris told them where to put them before going back over to Alyssa.
"Are you going to be, ok?" Chris said.
"I should be ok. Orion will make sure I don't get hurt." Alyssa said.
Everyone gathered around to watch Alyssa, Chris stood back looking worried which everyone saw.
"What's wrong you're looking worried?" Jimmy said.
"That's because I am Jimmy. Alyssa was in a competition four years ago and she was injured." Chris said.
"How did she get injured?" Llyod said.
"Her horse was going around the barrel when it slipped which cause Alyssa to fall off dislocating her shoulder and then her horse landed on her leg breaking it." Chris said.
Everyone then looked worried and watched as Alyssa and Orion raced around the barrels fine everyone noticed the smile on Alyssa's face when she ran towards then she jumped off Orion and ran towards Chris who spun her around as she laughed. Rip looked Alyssa like she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, he watched as she got back on Orion and started running around the barrels again. He decided he was going to ask her out on a date that night and to see if Chris would look after Isla and Eric.
That afternoon Rip walked up to Chris and talked to him.
"Hey, Chris, how will you feel if I took Alyssa on a date tonight?" Rip said.
"I think she will like it. She like rodeos and bars so she can dance, so take her to the rodeo and then a bar to dance. I will look after Isla and Eric until you come back with her." Chris said.
Rip nodded before going to go find Alyssa to ask her out, he found her watching Orion and Starlett running around together in a paddock, he walked over towards her.
"Hey Alyssa, how are you today?" Rip said.
"Hey Rip, I'm ok how are you?" Alyssa said.
"I'm alright. Are you doing anything tonight?" Rip said.
"No, I'm not doing anything why is that?" Alyssa said.
"Would you like to come watch the rodeo with me then go to a bar and dance?" Rip said.
"I would love to." Alyssa said before kissing Rip on the cheek.
Rip nodded his head before leaving while Alyssa went into the paddock and got Orion and Starlett out and took them to the stables, she gave them hay before leaving to get Beth's help picking the clothes for her date.
