Chapter 3: Rafayel

Her job friends stood there behind us. Watching how we fought the monster they are struggling to defeat. Kei moves just when she needed to. I dont mind slaving myself for her. I just don't want to let her know that.

I am enjoying her pampering me. Loving me.

Summoning fire and attacking the wanderer, she looked at me and nodded.

"Now!"

She fired her gun and I followed suit with my attack.

The monster exploded and cheers followed.

"Thank goodness.." i heard some hunters sighed.

"Thanks Rafa.." she hugged me and I smiled.

"Always a pleasure to be of service to you." I whispered.

"Keisari Raine." One hunter called her and she looked.

"Yes?"

"Who is he?"

Then someone from the group screamed. "It's Rafayel!"

"Rafayel?"

"The famous painter?!"

I smiled at them unsure of what to say. I should be nice to them, right?

"Pleased to meet you, hunters." I slightly bowed and then looked at everyone. "I am Rafayel, Kei's.. uhh.." then I looked at her.

"My husband." She smiled proudly.

"Stop fucking with us, Kei." They laughed.

"I am her husband.." I defended my voice a bit sad.

"Huh?" They all looked at me and they became serious. "Tell us if Kei bullied you."

"Stop fucking teasing Rafa you insane hunters!" She spat.

I hugged her and buried my face on the crook of her neck. "Keiiii~"

All of them stopped laughing and teasing us when a voice spoke and a woman like a captain emerged.

"Hunters."

"Yes captain Jenna."

"Good job on handling the wanderer. You may now go back to the base."

"Why are you here, Keisari Raine?" She asked Kei and I stepped aside. Its job related and I should respect them.

"I heard of the the mission, I went to assist."

"Tara wants you to take this." She threw Kei's gown and the hunters gaped at the clothes. "Also this. And this." She also threw the heels and my coat.

"Stop making her your errand girl, Keisari." Jenna quipped.

"Stop giving her mixed signals, Captain." Kei answered back.

Hunters around gasped.

"Keisari Raine!" Jenna's voice boomed.

"Yes, whatever."

"You're on leave for three days. Enjoy it." Then she turned to go. Hunters followed suit and went to their own bikes.

"Should I buy you clothes?" I offered her and she happilh agreed. I held her gown, shoes and my coat.

"Something comfy, and light.." we roamed the shops for clothes.

"I need to take this to the car, Kei." I showed her her dress. She looked at me.

"Where is your car? On second thought.. let's just go back to the hotel. I wanna sleep mo--" she stopped herself from rambling. "Nevermind. I can wear my uniform while we stroll in the city."

"We still have a day to explore. Let's get some rest at the hotel." I pulled her close and kissed her cheek.

"A-Are you sure???" She looked at me like I said something strange.

"Of course." I led her to the place where I parked the car and opened the passenger door for her. "After you."

A few minutes and were at the hotel again. I sighed. She does look tired but..

"Kei." I called her.

"Yes?" She's busy with her phone. Is it a work thing??

"Kei.. I have a party to attend later.."

"Okay? Then we'll attend." She continued walking.

"A-Are you sure?" I ran after her and matched her pace.

"Why not? You're invited, aren't you?" She's still on her phone.

I frowned. What is she doing??

I peeked on what she's so focused on her phone. Its.. a shopping app? She's looking for some art materials..

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Looking for a g--" her head quickly turned to me. "What the hell, Rafayel?!" She locked her phone and pulled my collar. "Why are you soooo nosy?"

"It's just that.. you're so small I saw that?" I grinned.

"What did you saaaay?" She smirked.

"You love me so much, don't ya?" I teased her.

She let's go of my collar, turns and walks again to our room.

"Don't forget to get me a dress, Rafayel." She reminded me. "You're not going to go at that party without me." She opened the door and left it open for me.

"Yes, ma'am!" I ran after her and closed the door.

I saw her pulling another bag inside the walk in closet. It's her pj's.

"I'll sleep." She pointed at the other side of the room. "Your art materials."

I smiled. She never let's me down. Wherever I go, she makes sure that I can paint whenever I want.

"You took my paint?" I asked as I walked to check the art supplies she brought.

"Yeah. It's not like I sold them. They are too special to be sold, tbh." She slipped off her uniform then removed her bra. I don't need to be shy about that.

My eyes focused on the things inside her bag. There is this thick and long thing inside. The handle part is black, and the other end is.. what is that???

"Keisari Raine?" I called her.

"Yeah?"

"I wanna ask you something."

"Ask away." She wore the pj's I bought her. I took the 'thing' and showed it to her.

"Is this what I think it is?" I looked at her confused.

"What??" She looked at me and frowned. "Huh?"

"Is this the reason why you don't always come to my studio anymore??? You're always busy. And you got a lot of missions.. reasons!"

"What the heck, Rafayel?" She sat at the end of the bed trying to make sense of what I am saying.

"Is this used for.. you know?"

"What?!" She laughed.

"It's not that big but.." i spoke to myself and shake my head. I continued inspecting the 'thing' my eyes widened when I saw the label.. "on and off."

"Keisari!! Raaaaineee!" I noticed the cord and the electric plug.

"What??" She again laughed at me.

"Oh my god. Turbooooo?!" I can't help but be horrified by this thing!

"T-Turbo?" She's now fucking rolling on the bed laughing.

"Im serious!"

"What the fuck, Rafayel?" She tried to stop laughing but failed.

"Is this the reason? But you have me, Keisari Raine!"

"I know. I have you. You don't actually think that is a--" she's laughing like a maniac now.

I threw the thing on the side, crossed my arms and frowned.
