DAWN: Mirabella Richetti's Debut Album Favours Success

After a month of hints and secrets, Mirabella Richetti finally released her debut album DAWN earlier this week, taking the internet by storm

After a month of hints and secrets, Mirabella Richetti finally released her debut album DAWN earlier this week, taking the internet by storm. Given the success of her first single august earlier this month, it was no surprise to find a similar theme in the rest of the tracks, but to what extent?

Richetti has been the official partner of thriving Formula 1 Rookie, Oscar Piastri, for the last five months, going as far to dedicate august to him (as confirmed in an interview at the beginning of November) however, with the release of DAWN, a new narrative is encouraging fans to look deeper into the relationship.

Tracks such as K. and Will We Talk? feature lyrics that suggest a noncommittal level of the couple's relationship, with perfect hinting towards the secrecy that both must've had to endure in the early days of their relationship, becoming accustomed to the media. When asked about these lyrics, Richetti replied: 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱. 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴. 𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘯𝘰𝘸?

There is no doubt for the reason why Richetti has this attitude, given the rumours of her displacing the Formula 1 Rookie's former partner, Lucy Madden, when first spotted together in May earlier this year.

Furtherly, when asked of the inspiration of tracks like Ace Up My Sleeve and End of Beginning, Richetti answered: 𝘪 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘣𝘶𝘮. 𝘪 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵.

It is unclear what, or rather who, she refers to in the statement, but it can only be speculated...

"Mira?"

"Hello."

"Hi." Lando answered. "Uh, Oscar was-"

"I wanted to talk to you." I said. "Are you busy?"

"Uh..." He spoke to someone on the other end discreetly. "I have a few minutes. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine."

"Oh, good. I thought I was in trouble."

"Not yet."

"Very funny. What's up?"

"I have a present for you."

"Really?"

"Check your imbox."

I waited, hearing him tap on his phone.

"What's this?" I could hear him smiling.

"Well, I was talking it through with Bastien. We weren't going to include it at first but... I thought I might as well." I beamed.

He was silent.

"Go listen to it."

"Bella..."

"It's your song, Lando." I told him. "You're a really good friend, you know that, right? Not just to me, but Oscar too. I'm glad to have you."

He sniffed briefly.

"Call me later when you've had a listen to it."

You take the man out of the city, not the city out the man...

— a few months earlier

"Do you remember when we first met?"

"Barely." Carla jested. "Why?"

"We were sat on that park bench. In-"

"Oh yes, I remember. I was with Tony-"

"Yes. You just started ranting to me about-"

"How he was the absolute worst man I had ever met. I remember. We were a couple of depressed sardines."

"Sitting ducks."

"That's one way of putting it." She laughed.

"Well, I've been looking through my notebook. There's this one song I made, I don't know, two years ago? I think it's about then. I can't date it to any where else."

"You wrote a song about me?"

"Hey, I said it was about then, not you."

"Uhuh." She grinned. "It's about me, isn't it?"

Let me know when you're ready to leave...

I have all that we need, there's an ace up my sleeve...
