Charlie got into the car. He was ready to move. The main reason for their moving was that the house was getting old and basically falling apart. But even so, Charlie would miss being close to Leah. They were very close and they liked each other. Charlie's parents started the car. They were driving to the new house. Finally, they arrived. They hopped out of the car. The house wasn't that exciting. It was old and it was a dirty white color. He went inside. It didn't look any better in there then it did outside. He didn't really seen to mind it. "Hey, why don't you and I go take a short walk around the block to...you know...get to know our new surroundings?" His dad asked, trying to get him a little more excited. "Sure dad."
They walked around the block twice. They compared their old and new houses. On their second time around the block, Charlie spotted a necklace on the ground. "Hey, Dad. Look what I found on the sidewalk." His dad came over. "Hmm...looks like a pretty nice necklace. Just leave it there someone will probably come back for it later" But Charlie wanted it. He wanted give it to Leah. You know, just be nice. So when his dad wasn't looking he took the necklace.
Later that night at dinner, he pulled the necklace out of his pocket. "Look what I found today." Charlie announced. "Charlie I told you to leave that on the sidewalk."his dad said. "Well sorry, and I doubt that anyone is going to come back for this." "Well it's lovely."his mom commented. They finished dinner and all went their separate ways.
