The next day Charlie and Leah sat together at school at lunch. Charlie decided to give her the necklace. "Leah, I got this necklace for you." "Oh my gosh! I love thank you so much Charlie!" Leah really seemed to love to necklace. Right as she put on the necklace she opened her lunch and that there were two chocolates in there. "Oh yay! I must have accidentally grabbed two chocolates instead! Oh well...more for me!" Leah was happy. Later that day after school as Leah and Charlie were walking to Leah's house Leah said,"Today I got a 96 on my math test! This must be my lucky day. Or...this necklace that you gave me is good luck! Thank you so much Charlie!"
Charlie felt good for Leah, but he wanted the necklace for himself. Ever since he heard Leah say that the necklace was good luck, he wanted the necklace for himself.
While they were walking, Charlie told Leah how dirty the necklace was because he had found it on the sidewalk after if had been left there mysteriously. Trying to get her give it back. But Leah didn't care. She still liked it and it was still her good luck charm. Charlie was disappointed. He took a bus home and he tried to find out a way to get that necklace back.
