Chapter 07- An Auradon Prep Welcome pt.1

Auradon Prep- Entrance 

(At the same time as the events of the Isle of the Lost)

Tobias Draconis had never felt such a whirlwind of emotions before in all of his life. Not once has he ever felt such a rush of excitement, joy, happiness, and eagerness ever until today. Sure he has felt such emotions before, but never as much at this moment. Here he is just outside the main building of Auradon Prep, making sure that everything is perfect.

The band is where they are supposed to be. All with their musical instruments and dressed in their gear.

The banners for his sons and grandsons welcoming are high and held up with care.

He has Emilia and the other children of Wonderland to one side, all holding a balloon, banner and a gift for their Red Heart. Emilia bouncing a little in her spot looking eager and full of life to see her cousin, and his son.

"Looking fantastic." Tobias grinned, "Everything is just as its supposed to-wait, where's Danny?"

"You may want to talk to Ms. Claudette, your majesty." Layla replied, "She decided to give Danny detention for disrupting class."

"Despite him only asking for help." Emilia groaned.

Ms. Claudette is one of the many teachers in Auradon Prep, one that teaches French. Many of the male students adore her because while many of the female students hate her. She acts like a child, loves to show off in provocative clothing, and doesn't do her job properly. There are many rumours going around about her on how she got her position as a teacher, mainly rumours that are not for the safest of heart. Layla cannot stand the woman simply because she is unprofessional and she doesn't help her fellow students, mainly those that have learning difficulties like her brother Danny.

Danny has trouble reading and was recently diagnosed with Dyslexia. The staff were told to help Danny with his reading, but has not yet put anything in place due to the upcoming coronation. Since the upcoming event, people would rather focus on that than a child's well-being.

"Ugh. I get that she used to know the queen when they were younger, but she's nothing but a tart." Emilia grumbled.

"Emilia..." Layla politely scolded her best friend.

"I'll have a word with her after this ceremony." Tobias said. He has heard many things regarding the French teacher and is shocked that Ms. Fairy Godmother hasn't done anything about it. He looks around and scowls in Ben's direction.

Ben is currently standing with the headmistress with the daughter of Sleeping Beauty clinging onto him. The Emperor goes over to them.

"Excuse me." The three turn round to face him, "Why is she here?" He asked regarding Audrey, "She doesn't have permission to be here."

"I was invited." Audrey replied with a sickly sweet tone, "Ben thought I would be great help in welcoming the new students."

"Not bloody likely." Emilia scoffed.

"I-I hope you don't mind your majesty." Ben gulped, "She insisted on helping out."

"You may be the upcoming prince Benjamin, but even you must follow the rules." Tobias replied, "I have the final say in all decisions."

"B-But your majesty-" The Fairy Godmother tries to interject when she stops as the emperor emits a dark aura filled with killing intent.

"But nothing." The older man hissed, "This may be a welcoming ceremony, but this one happens to be classed as a royal ceremony designed to welcome royalty. You of all people know the traditions, yes?"
