Chapter 20- Call of the Infinity

General POV

"Igor..." Morgana muttered, "Just what are you playing at?"

"Igor." Evie muttered, "I know I heard that name somewhere."

"I remember dad mention his name once or twice growing up." Jay said as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly, "The very name alone struck fear into him."

"S-Same here with my mom." Carlos said, "I remember when she heard the name, her face paled drastically and she hid under her bed for a few days, screaming her head off and trying to ward this 'Igor' off."

"Wow. If some of the worlds notorious villains are scared of this person, he must be a very powerful and dangerous being." Peter sweat dropped. Mal began to ponder for a moment before her eyes widen. She let out a scream.

"Mal?!" Her friends exclaimed.

"A-Auntie?!" Naruto asked.

"I-It can't be." The purple haired girl turned to the empress, "P-Please tell me that I'm wrong, b-but this Igor...by any chance does he resemble a fiend with long nose?"

"How astute Mal." Tobias gulped, "You are correct."

"O-Oh no..." Mal paled.

"I've never seen aunt Mal so scared." Naruto gasped.

"She has every reason to be scared. We all should be." Fairy Godmother said. The woman shook in fear, "I-Igor is...is..."

"H-He is a legend of myth." Mal turned to her friends and pseudo nephew, "He's a being far powerful than all the villains combined. His very name strikes fear and panic into even the most nastiest of criminals. H-He is a being that embodies Fortune, Destiny, Fate, Prophecies, and Probability. Not even the Fates themselves match up to his powers. H-He controls and manipulates the very existence of mortals!"

"O-Oh dear..." Evie whimpered, "I-I remember now! M-Mommy told me stories about his exploits! H-He's like the hero version of the Bogeyman that parents tell kids when they misbehave."

"T-That's uncle Igor for you." Morgana said. The Core Four and the others pale and gasp.

"N-No way..." Jay gulped, "Y-You mean he's related to you?!"

"A-And if that's the case...he's also related to Big Brother." Carlos hid behind the muscular teen, "Since that would make Igor Big Brother's great uncle..."

"T-That's news." Izuku gulped, "I've read about Igor's many exploits that are documented throughout centuries, and not once has it ever mentioned him being a Draconis."

"That's because it was kept a secret." Morgana replied, "It was made hidden for safety reasons and because uncle dearest is a very private person. He prefers to keep to himself and likes to indulge in his work."

"Which is creating heroes." Tobias added, "He himself chooses those he deems worthy to be sent to him and for them to sign a special contract; In exchange for their service, the recipient is gained a very special power. The power of Persona."

"Persona?" Danny questioned.

"Now that laddie is top secret information." Cait Sith said, "It is not in our place to say. If people found out, it would cause quite the calamity."

"Shifting the scales of the balance of Good and Evil into chaos worthy." Shinigami described, "The only reason I know is because I accidently overheard dad and Uncle Igor talking one day. T-The look on his face when he found out I knew..." The daughter of Death's face paled and she shuddered, "It was horrifying."
