(Alright, so more cockroach lore! Now, because I spent most of my day yesterday making the new cover, I might release a storyline part in the middle of the week. But also maybe not considering it's the end of the quarter this week for school)

(Your girlie has to maintain her straight A's okay?)

(So this part will be more casual, and me explaining cockroach lore.

(Now onto bullshit-)

So in the other, more historical part, I explained that cockroaches can infect people with a psychological disease that makes them- well yandere. This time, I'm going to go more into depth with the whole disease and its history with the cockroaches.

It can be random on whether you get infected or not because the cockroaches are sentient on who they affect. They tend to target those who have a history of causing suffering or those with unstable mindsets/emotions. In other words, the more mental you are, the more those cockroaches are gonna infect you. The cockroaches affect people by passing a signal by their antennae.

Once someone is affected their person of interest doesn't have to be the first person they meet. Generally, it's someone who they already have a genuine connection with. The effects shown up are very subjective. It can be romantic or platonic; it can be one interest or multiple; and can show up years after the disease was passed to the person.

Okay, so that's kind of the circumstances with the disease itself, now we'll talk about how the disease has evolved (in scientific terms, similar to that of a genetic mutation).

When the disease was first introduced, as soon as the first symptoms showed up, the infected couldn't hold back their urges. Immediately, they would start to obsess over their interest and start going crazy; killing people, kidnapping their beloved, all that

But as the years go on, the diseased started to mutate (wrong word, but basically that) so that the infected are able to mask themselves better, or the progression of the disease is much slower and less spontaneous.

Now, handling the symptoms of the disease can be much harder if they are already heavily attached to their beloved. I'm planning to show this contrast soon.

(That's all the lore I have now. I might develop more on cockroach society next.)

(Sorry this was late! It was the end of 3rd quarter this week so I was busy with that. But I'm on my spring break of 4 days, so I'll be in the process of writing a new chapter right now.)
