"Avery you've done very well for yourself with your new album that just dropped!" Jimmy smiled "you have a top 10 hit on the rock charts!"

"yes it's very exciting! I never thought I would get here! It's actually always been a dream of mine to be on your show?" She smiled.

"you did a cover of Lita Ford's kiss me deadly and then Joan jett's I hate myself for loving you! You did amazing!" He smiled

"tthank you Jimmy! Both of those beautiful women were role models when I was growing up! The one song I haven't yet done that I want to do though is heart's barracuda! I love heart!" She smiled.

"that's awesome!" Jimmy smiled "so you love 80s rock?"

"I do" she smiled.

"whos your favorite?" Jimmy asked.

Avery thought for a moment "If I have to choose I would say queen!" She smiled.

"a woman after my heart" jimmy laughed.

Avery smiled, jimmy was always very flirtatious with her. She may have been a rocker chick and have a tough exterior but jimmy was one of the few people who saw the true her. They'd been friends since before she got famous, but they never saw each other romantically. The attraction was never there.

"speaking of which, now that you have new found fame, is there anyone your heart is after?" Jimmy asked.

"are you asking me if I have a celebrity crush jimmy?" Avery asked.

"I am!" Jimmy said.

"in that case, yes I do!" Avery smiled.

"is it someone I know?" Jimmy asked.

"he's been on your show before, talked about how he embarrassed his daughter at school when he blasted all I want i for Christmas is you!" Avery said, nervously moving her hair off her neck.

"no way!" Jimmy said, a smile forming on his face "you know he's a guest on our show today?"

Avery's heart skipped a beat, time stood still for a moment. At first she thought jimmy was bluffing until she saw him look at the camera "please help me welcome, Roman reigns!"

Avery gave jimmy a death stare, jimmy shrugged his shoulders with a smile. She wanted to make herself disappear. Jimmy put her in the spot and the man she was pining over was right in front of her.

He walked over to her and Avery's anger at Jimmy disappeared like it had never even happened. He sat next to her and her face got bright red "are you blushing Avery?"  jimmy asked

"he's even hotter in person!" Avery giggled.

As the show finished, Avery smiled at Jimmy "I'm sorry I was angry at you earlier. I wasn't prepared"

"it's no problem!" Jimmy said, looking behind Avery "let me know how it goes later"

Avery turned around seeing the man of her desires before her "I heard your music, you're very talented!" He smiled.

Avery swallowed hard, trying to keep herself together "thank you!" She smiled.

"I actually know of a place that plays nothing but rock music, would you want to go with me sometime?" He asked.

Avery's heart did flip flops "I'd love to!" She smiled.

"i'll see you tomorrow at 7 then?" He asked.

"absolutely!" Avery smiled "sorry I should probably give you my number!"

Roman pulled his phone out of his pocket, handing it to her, she gave him her phone as well. Handing him his phone back, he took it from her, grabbing her hand and bringing it to his lips, kissing it softly, winking at her "goodnight Avery!"

"goodnight" she said walking away to her car, calling her best friend and telling her EVERY THING!
