"Whispering" "Talking" =Thinking= "Yelling!" "All Might Talking"

The bustling city below was alive with the hum of activity, its streets illuminated by the glow of neon lights and the steady stream of traffic. But high above the chaos, on the solitary rooftop of a nondescript building, stood Izuku Midoriya, his heart heavy with despair.

Moments ago, he had stood face to face with his idol, the symbol of peace himself, All Might. With trembling hands and a voice thick with hope, Izuku had posed the question that had haunted his every waking moment: could he become a hero without a quirk? The Hero's response echoed through his head.

{5 Minutes Earlier}

The air crackled with anticipation as Izuku Midoriya stood before the towering figure of All Might, his heart pounding in his chest. This was his chance, his moment to finally ask the question that had plagued his every waking moment.

Izuku: "All Might, sir."

Izuku began, his voice trembling slightly with desperation.

Izuku: "is it possible to become a hero... without a quirk?"

For a moment, there was silence, broken only by the sound of Izuku's rapid heartbeat echoing in his ears. Then, to his dismay, All Might's booming laughter filled the air, a cruel sound that sent shivers down Izuku's spine.

All Might: "Ha! You? A hero? Don't be ridiculous, kid."

All Might scoffed, his voice dripping with disdain.

All Might: "Heroes are meant to protect the innocent, to stand against evil with their mighty quirks. But you? You're nothing more than a powerless weakling."

Izuku's heart sank like a stone in his chest, the weight of All Might's words crushing him with their harsh reality. His dreams, his hopes of proving himself to the world, shattered like fragile glass before his eyes.

Izuku: "But... but I want to help people."

Izuku stammered, his voice barely a whisper against the overwhelming force of All Might's scorn.

All Might's laughter only grew louder, more mocking, as he towered over Izuku like a titan of judgment.

All Might: "Help people? With what? Your pitiful strength? Your pathetic excuses for bravery? Face it, kid. You'll never be a hero. You're better off giving up now before you embarrass yourself any further."

With those final, cutting words, All Might turned and leaped away, leaving Izuku alone in the shadow of his towering presence, his dreams shattered and his heart heavy with despair.

{Present}

As Izuku walked through the streets, his mind clouded with the echoes of All Might's cruel laughter and biting words, he was consumed by a sense of hopelessness. Each step felt heavier than the last, weighed down by the crushing weight of his shattered dreams.

But then, amidst the din of the city, a series of explosions pierced through the haze of Izuku's despair, drawing his attention like a beacon in the darkness. Curiosity stirred within him, a flicker of interest amidst the storm of emotions raging within his heart. What could be causing such chaos? And more importantly, could he do something to help?

Following the cacophony of blasts, Izuku found himself drawn to a crowd gathered in the distance, their faces illuminated by the flickering flames of a raging fire. Among them stood the towering figures of several pro heroes, their expressions grim as they worked to contain the chaos.

Mt. Lady, Death Arms, Kamui Woods, and Backdraft - their names echoed in Izuku's mind as he recognized the heroes from his countless hours of hero analysis. But amidst the chaos, his eyes landed on the central figure, the source of the turmoil: the Sludge Villain.

Izuku's heart skipped a beat as memories of their previous encounter flooded his mind. The terror, the helplessness - it all came rushing back with a vengeance. And then, amidst the chaos, he saw him - Katsuki Bakugo, his ex-friend turned tormentor, held captive by the Sludge Villain's vile tendrils.

Guilt washed over Izuku like a tidal wave as he realized the role he had played in allowing the villain to escape. If only he hadn't clung to All Might's pants, perhaps none of this would have happened.

Death Arms: "Dammit! I can't get near him! We need to wait for a hero with a suitable quirk!"

As Death Arms voiced the futility of their situation, Izuku's resolve hardened. He couldn't stand by and watch as his friend - no, his former friend - suffered at the hands of the villain, he just couldn't. With determination burning in his eyes, Izuku charged forward, heedless of the danger that lay ahead.

Death Arms: "Wait kid! Come back here!!!"

But the heroes words fell on deaf ears. The Sludge Villain reconized the boy with green hair almost instantly.

Sludge Villain: "You again!? Die you brat!!"

The Sludge Villain's tendrils lashed out towards him, but Izuku's reflexes were honed from years of training. With a grace born of desperation, he dodged each strike, his focus singularly fixed on reaching Bakugo.

And then, as if guided by some unseen force, Izuku felt a surge of power coursing through him, unseen red veins appearing on his skin as he reached out with his left arm, grabbing hold of Bakugo's wrist.

Izuku: "HAAAAAA!!!"

Izuku unleashed his fury upon the Sludge Villain, his fist connecting with a force that reverberated through the very air itself. The punch was so powerful that the heroes had to protect the bystanders from the air pressure.

And then, as suddenly as it had begun, the chaos subsided, replaced by a deafening silence broken only by the steady patter of raindrops against the pavement.

The heroes and bystanders alike stood in stunned silence, their eyes wide with awe and disbelief at the display of power they had just witnessed.

As it continued to rain, Izuku Izuku realized what he had done. He had unleashed a power beyond his wildest imagination, a force so potent that it had obliterated the Sludge Villain in an instant.

Horror washed over him like a tidal wave as he stared at the destruction he had wrought, his hands trembled. The heroes and bystanders looked on in shock and awe, their eyes wide with disbelief at the spectacle before them.

But amidst the chaos, Izuku felt only guilt and despair gnawing at his soul. He had acted on impulse, driven by a desperate need to save Bakugo, but in doing so, he had unleashed a power he didn't know he had.

Without a word, Izuku turned and fled.

Kamui Woods: "Hey, Wait!!"

The heroes shouted after him, their voices a distant echo in the night, but he paid them no heed. He couldn't face them, not after what he had done.

{That Night}

As Izuku lay on his bed, the events of the evening replayed in his mind like a relentless loop, tormenting him with their vivid intensity. The sound of the rain pattering against the windowpane served as a somber backdrop to his tumultuous thoughts, amplifying the weight of his guilt and confusion.

With his mother away on a night shift at the hospital, Izuku was left alone in the quiet solitude of his room, the only company he had being the shadows that danced across the walls. And yet, even in the darkness, he couldn't escape the memory of what had transpired earlier that evening.

The surge of power, the rush of adrenaline, the overwhelming sense of fury that had consumed him as he unleashed his newfound abilities upon the Sludge Villain - it all felt like a distant dream, a surreal moment of clarity amidst the chaos of his shattered reality.

But one thing remained painfully clear amidst the haze of uncertainty: Izuku Midoriya had a quirk.

The realization hit him like a thunderbolt, shaking him to his core with its profound implications. For years, he had believed himself to be quirkless, an anomaly in a world where superhuman abilities defined one's worth as a hero. And yet, here he was, wielding a power beyond his wildest imagination.

But with this newfound revelation came a flood of questions, each more daunting than the last. How had he obtained his quirk? Why had it remained dormant for so long? And most importantly, what did this mean for his future as a hero?

As Izuku grappled with these overwhelming thoughts, something began to stir within him, a flicker of hope amidst the darkness of his despair. Perhaps, just perhaps, this newfound power was a sign - a sign that he was meant for something greater, something beyond the confines of his own limitations.

With a newfound resolve burning in his heart, Izuku vowed to uncover the truth behind his quirk, to unravel the mystery of his own existence and forge a path towards his destiny. For he may have been knocked down, but he refused to stay down - not when the world needed heroes more than ever.

And as he drifted off into a fitful sleep, his mind filled with visions of a future yet unwritten, Izuku Midoriya knew that his journey was far from over. For with great power came even greater responsibility, and he was determined to rise to the challenge, no matter the cost.
