CHAP 2) NIGHTMARE CAME TRUE.

Oliver looks at me, "you'll have fun here." he says.

I nodded and we go inside. Im guessing the principal.. he came up to me.

"Theodore!-" he says, before getting cut off.

"Call me Theo, not Theodore." i say.

"Of course.. Well, its nice meeting this mysterious boy. I've heard a lot about you." He says.

"My name is Mr. H." He says.

I nodded.

he began to speak again, "You'll be spending a week here. For the remaining time, You'll need to be on your best behavior. Im also guessing you met Oliver, He'll be helping you around here." He says.

"A week?" i ask.

"Yes, a week. It's the recommended time for kids like you. Don't worry, the teachers will love you. Theo, You'll love it here." He says.

I really didn't want to spend a week here, but i didn't really have a choice. All i could think about was my mom and my step sister. I was wondering if they were okay, i knew that my step dad was an alcoholic.

I hated when he drank, It'd give me a ton of anxiety. I couldn't care less if he hurt me, I care a ton when he lays even a finger on my mom. I hope one day we'll get out of there. I know we will.

"Alright.." i respond.

"Oliver will show you to your dorm room." Mr. H. says.

i nodded.

Mr. H. walks away.

The red head, Marissa walks up to me. Of course she was with her friends.

"Are you gonna be a principals pet? Leblanc.. is it? Im gonna make this week a living hell for you. Remember that." she whispers in my ear.

Her friends snickered.

I know that i had to be on my best behavior, so i didn't say anything to mean, i think.

"Mess with me and ill beat the living shit out of you, redhead. I am not fucking around." i say.

Her friends eyes widened, Clearly. They were shocked i threatened a girl. Who cares, i obviously didn't. I couldn't care less.

Oliver looked at me, then looked at Marissa.

Oliver was staying out of it, he knew better. It was my first day and i already was causing trouble. To be fair, she started it. Not me.

Marissas jaw fell to the floor, she couldn't believe i said that. She looks at me then at her friends, "Lets go, He's just an annoying new kid." She says, walking away.

I wasn't annoying, Yeah. Im new, but im not annoying. She just has a problem with me.. for no reason. It was my first day here. i don't know what the hell i did for her to hate me so much. Whatever.

Oliver looked at me, "you could've handled that a better way.. Theo, you cant be getting in trouble." He says, scratching his neck.

I put my hand on Olivers shoulder, "Well, sometimes you gotta be an asshole to people who deserve it. Cough cough, The redhead." i say, scoffing.

I roll my eyes, "is she always like this?" i ask.

"Yep.. It's nothing new to me! She even did it to me.. When i was new, She used to bully me. She'd trip me then beat me up til i was unconscious. Mind you, we were 9 years old.." He explains.

"Well, Buddy. Im here now, so you don't have anything to worry about." I say.

"You're her next victim." He says.

He leads me to our dorm room, "Sorry.. It isn't the cleanest. I can be messy sometimes." He explains.

"Its alright, no big deal." I say.

I lay down on my bed, i close my eyes and drift to sleep.

I open my eyes a little, i notice that Mr. H. is in our dorm, he's talking to Oliver.. i wonder why.. I hope Oliver isn't telling him about what i said to Marissa.

"Do you really think I can protect that boy?" Oliver mutters.

"Yes, Oliver. You have to, He is special. I can tell, Theres a feeling about him." Mr H. responds.

"When can i take him to the camp?" Oliver asks.

"When he's ready.. also when he realizes his true self, or when he's in danger." Mr. H. tells Oliver.

"Alright.." Oliver says, sounding unsure about everything.

Jeez, i can't believe what i was hearing.. What camp? What is my true self? Why would i be in danger?
All of these thoughts are running through my head. I was only 11, how could i be in danger?

Oliver was coming to check if i was awake, fuck. i close my eyes tightly. Thankfully, he didn't see me awake. He walks to Mr. H.

"i will protect Theo. I wont fail you." Oliver says to Mr. H.

I don't know how i could see Oliver the same, What was he protecting me from? Why was he? Why was Mr. H. in on this? I had so many questions. I knew that i had to keep to myself. I didn't want them finding out i was peeping in on their conversation, when i was supposed to be asleep.

This really was like a nightmare that came true.
