CHAP 18) THE SEA OF MONSTERS

"We have to go on a plane for this.." I say.

"What's wrong? Afraid of the sky?" Amelia laughs.

"What..No! That'd be a disgrace to my father... Our father." I say, sighing.

"Let's just get on the plane." Ella says.

"We don't have any money.. Plus it's the six of us.." I say.

"I have money, I've been saving up in case we would need it.. and we do need it. So, take the money." Tobias says.

"Are you sure?" Ella asks.

"Of course.. I don't mind." He says.

Ella hugged him and he didn't know how to react. He just stood there, looking dumbfounded.

"Thank you.." Ella says.

"Yeah, anything for you guys. You're my best friends.. I'd do anything for you." Tobias says, smiling.

We went to the airport and waited for our flight.

Ella looked at me and smiled, "Thank you, Theo." She says.

"For what?" I ask.

"Being here with me, I couldn't do this by myself and you know it.. I'm just afraid of facing.. You know, him. I hate it, we could've been the best of friends.. All of us." She says.

"I.. I know. It sucks he just had to do all of this. I'm sure in another universe.. it'd be different." I reassured her.

"I'd hoped so, I mean.. he loved us.. Me and Oliver. You weren't really around by the time. He still loved you a lot though, I could see it." She says, sighing.

"I loved him. He was my best friend, and he saved me. It just sucks that he.. turned. I could've helped him. I really could've." I say, adjusting myself.

"In another universe, maybe he wouldn't do this.. and we would be best friends." She says.

"In another universe." I say.

It was time to part the plane.

We all went on and went to our seats. Of course, me and Ella sat next to each other. That was all that mattered.

Ella looked at me, "You seem.. upset." She says.

"I'm not.. I'm just stressed. I mean what if we do see Damien.. What would we say? Nothing will ever make him come back to his senses." I say, sighing.

"It'll be alright, don't worry." She says.

"H-How can I not worry? That is my worst enemy. The worst enemy was my.. best friend. I'm worried he will kill one of you guys." I nervously say.

"Damien won't kill us.." She says.

I nodded and closed my eyes.

I had a dream and.. it showed Damien. He was sitting with his minions.. and there was a statue of Luke Castellan.

Damien had emotionless eyes. His skin was much paler than when I saw him. He was much skinnier as well.

His eyes seemed.. darker. It wasn't the same color as when he was at camp..

He wore a dark black robe.. His sword was in his hilt, he looked much stronger than the last time I had seen him.

His sword looked much better than the one I had 'killed' him with.

"I have a plan.. sir." A man with dark skin and tall with an accent said.

"And.. What is your plan?" Damien says.
