hate.

                             —

You were sick. Really sick. You had fainted 3 times in the past 2 hours. Yet you were refusing to go to the doctor. You knew what this was. Atleast nobody would bother you today, right?

Katherine was in serious trouble, life or death some may say. She was in need of a witch, a powerful one. She had the perfect person to take that position. So, she made her way to find you, and little did you know.. she wasn't gonna take no for an answer.

You heard the doorbell ring, and groaned when you realized that meant you had to get up from the couch. Who was there to bother you? You opened the door to see the infamous Katherine Pierce.

She stares at you, clearly amused. "I'm in current need of a witch, and must I admit you make a dazzling choice."

You rolled your eyes. Of course.
"I'm sick. Find someone else."

You closed the door, but she held it back. Now she really was getting on your nerves.

"I could not care less. You think I've come all the way here just to hear you say no?" the corners of her lips curved into a smile.

You sighed, normally you would've said yes. but today you had no access to magic— or patience.

"Katherine. I know im the only person in this town who doesnt hate you, but I have just had 3 panic attacks in the past hour because im trying not to puke my guts out. so please, go away." you didn't wanna deal with anybody today, especially not Katherine. but of course, her needs came first.

You were irritable, so sensitive. all because you were sick. you could cry over anything right now.

"well, I need a witch, you dont hate me, you're powe-" she cut herself off when she pushed a strand of hair behind your ear. you were boiling, absolutely burning up.

"please Katherine. go away." you cried softly, the brunette just staring at you, obviously amused.

"hm, you're sick. I hadn't realized." she teased, tears welled up in your eyes.

"that's what i've been telling you for the past five fucking minutes!" you snapped, turning around, you didn't wanna face her. you ran your hand through your hair, you wanted to rip off your skin.

she sighs with annoyance, rolling her eyes. "what's wrong with you?" she spoked.

"I dont fucking know! leave me the fuck alone!" you yelled, hoping she'd just leave and you could sleep for the rest of the day. but of course she wouldn't just do that.

"trust me, I hate being here as much as you do. but like I said, I need a witch. and what kind of person would I be if I just left you here like that?" a giggle escaped her lips, clearly she found the situation funnier than you did.

"look, I can't be your witch today, alright? so get the hell out of my house!" you cried, tired of all this. you just wanted to go back into your bed.

you could feel your hands get sweaty, your breathing quicken up, and your heart pounding. great.

"Katherine, please leave." your breathing increased, alot. you were hyperventilating. you felt yourself getting dizzy, everything around you was spinning. and then it went black.

you woke up a few minutes later, quickly sitting up as to observe your surroundings. you quickly recognize the room as your bedroom, and you could draw out the brunette sitting on the edge of your bed.
