"No point sending out a search team Mother. I told you I'd be back today" I drawl, leaning against the wall calmly.

"Mr Midoriya?" One of the cops asks, tall and burly, strong jaw and brown hair and eyes. "Mind explaining where you've been the last week? Your mother was worried sick"

"Strange, because had she focused she'd have remembered that I told her I would be out for the last week. I went camping when she tried to force me to go to a party on my Blight Day"

"Blight... Day?" The second cop asked.

This guy was scrawny and ratlike.

"Every Halloween for the week before, I bloom glowing orange flowers that I can make ooze something I call Putrid Nectar. A drop will mutate any animal into a monstrous version of itself. Then it'll turn back and die. You can see how that's a problem right?"

"Yeah, so what?" Rat face asked rudely.

I glare at him. "On Halloween, or my Blight Day, the Putrid Nectar oozes uncontrollably from the flowers and from inside my body. My dear old mother here-" I send a pointed glare at Inko here. "-refused to care that it was my Blight Day and demanded I attend a Halloween party. The Blight makes me rather angry and volatile so I'm afraid I acted a bit rash and stormed out. I went camping for the past week with my phone off to cool off. After informing her, my honourary aunt and her son of my intentions"

"Their names?"

"Mitsuki Bakugo and Katsuki Bakugo. Both have anger issues but Aunt Mitsuki can usually control herself, something her son's yet to learn"

"Katsuki... Bakugo" Burly seemed to be remembering something. "Kid that goes boom?"

"Yeah. What, you know him?"

"There was a Villain attack yesterday, Sludge Villain captured a blonde with an Explosion Quirk and had to be stopped by All Might who was passing by. I was on the scene, he's got a pretty... Foul attitude"

"That's Bakugo for you. Rage incarnate" I shake my head in exasperation. "He's going to be a nightmare in class tomorrow"

"Well I'm afraid that you'll need to come with us to the station, we've been on the lookout for five days now and we need you there for the checks and such" Burly said, looking apologetic.

"No problem, I'll just grab a apple before we go, she coming?" I jerk my head to Mom who was looking shocked, angry and fearful.

"Hmm... Might as well" I grab an apple and we head out, there was a single car so we had to share the back seats.

It was not pleasant.

"Where the hell have you been young man! How dare you embarass me in front of these fine men!" Mom scolded me.

I look out the window and up at the clouds.

Hmm...

It's going to rain soon.

Mom's voice begins to get on my nerves so I pull out my phone and que up some music.

The car pulls up to the station and I walk in behind the cops, putting my earbuds and phone in my pocket.

I complete ignore Mom, I'm still pissed she'd ignore the dangers of my Quirk.
