Chapter five;; Alluring

Jungkook's perspective

I was starving. Following the events of my free period. I felt the urge to address my roommate's smoking habit, yet lacked the bravery to do so. Instead, I decided to wait until he left for lunch before attempting to have a conversation with him about it, ensuring that I remained composed throughout the discussion.

After rising from the floor, I proceeded towards the bathroom mirror, ensuring that my appearance did not reveal the fact that I had been shedding tears for an entire hour. Although I had indeed been crying, but no one needed to know that. I ruffled my honey blonde hair and cleansed my face before proceeding towards the cafeteria as well.

━━━

Upon my arrival at the cafeteria, I proceeded to queue up. Following what seemed like an eternity, I finally received my meal. Opting for Korean-style curry fried rice with chicken, along with a bulgogi triangle gimbap. His best friend assured him of his late arrival, along with the friendly individual he had been mentioning.

I began to eat my meal, gradually sensing my stomach becoming full. The fried rice was exceptionally delicious, and the gimbap complemented it perfectly.

As Jin makes his way closer to us, I notice that he is walking alongside someone else. His probably once bright blonde hair now appears slightly darker, framing his small, endearing face. His cheeks are plump and reminiscent of marshmallows, his lips full and inviting, his eyes small yet captivating, and his nose cute and perfectly proportioned.

"Hey Jungkook, this is Jimin, the one doing arts with me. Jimin this is Jungkook, my bestfriend." Hyung says with a heartwarming smile, his smile radiating kindness. Jimin looks towards me and giving me a cheerful smile. "Hi I 'm Jimin, nice to meet you." He politely says. "Hi I'm Jungkook, nice to meet you too". They settle down around the table with Jin Hyung next to me while Jimin sits across us.

We talk about our major courses, making little jokes there and there, with Jin Hyung almost laughing to everything, with his window wiper laugh, Jimin almost falling from his seat, making us crack up even more. Jimin really was friendly and easy to get along with. We also shared a certain level of familiarity. Additionally, it came as a surprise to discover that he, like myself, had not yet experienced his first kiss. Considering his striking appearance, I found that quite surprising.

I already like Jimin a lot.

━━━

Jimin and I were making our way to our final class. His art class was close to mine, so he decided to walk alongside me. "So, do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend? Not that I'm trying to make a move on you or anything. Unless you're interested in that," Jimin inquired, flashing a mischievous smile at me, causing my cheeks to blush a pretty shade of pink. "No, I've never been in a relationship. Just a few minor crushes here and there," I responded. "You're so sweet, it's surprising that no one has tried to flirt with you," Jimin remarked. "I can't guarantee you that," I replied, hearing Jimin chuckled beside me .

"How long have you and Jin Hyung been friends?" he inquired, his gaze fixed on me. "Since our early days in kindergarten, we have forged a friendship that has endured throughout the years, witnessing each other's personal growth," I responded . "Wow that's really a long time. You probably know each other's embarrassing times."

"Yeah, we do."

As we continued our conversation, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in my chest. Jimin was always so easy to talk to, and his playful teasing made me feel comfortable and at ease. I found myself opening up to him more than I had with anyone else before.
