Chapter seven ;; Sulky

Jungkook's perspective

I instructed Taehyung to find me in the primary corridor that leads to the canteen, in order for us to proceed together towards the cafeteria. As anticipated, he did arrive, accompanied by someone else. The individual Taehyung arrived with possessed a stature similar to mine. His hair, black in color, was neatly parted to the side, resembling side bangs. His eyes were undeniably adorable, complemented by a round nose and lips that formed a slender shape. He was attired in a plain white shirt, accompanied by a modest black jacket. 

"Sorry If I'm late. I'd like you to meet Yoongi, my closest friend from high school. Yoongi, this is Jungkook, a new acquaintance of mine." Taehyung introduced us with a smile, glancing between Yoongi and me. He met my gaze and flashed the most adorable gummy smile. He was charming. We chatted about various topics until we reached the cafeteria. I invited Taehyung and Yoongi to join me and my friends, and they happily tagged along, sharing laughs and engaging in their own conversation.

Jin and Jimin exchanged a perplexed glance with each other. I took a seat between them, while Taehyung and Yoongi occupied the seats across from us. As I sat there, Jimin Hyung discreetly nudged me with his elbow, giving me a subtle glare, attempting to avoid being too obvious. "So guys, this is Taehyung, my friend and roommate. And this is Yoongi, Taehyung's friend. They'll be joining us from now on, hope you don't mind," I stated, shifting my gaze between Jin and Jimin. They didn't appear overly thrilled. Perhaps I should have informed them beforehand. Nevertheless, I believe they'll eventually get along.

Jimin and Yoongi seemed to have a great friendship already. They got along splendidly, engaging in lively conversations and sharing laughter. Already exchanging numbers, but I suppose it was alright. And Jin Hyung and Taehyung. Although, it was mostly Jin who relentlessly questioned Taehyung about being his roommate. It was embarrassing. He reached a moment where he impulsively exclaimed, "Have you witnessed Jungkook's impressive abs? He puts a lot of effort into maintaining them, more than he does for any of us." After Jin Hyung's teasing remark, Taehyung flashed me a cunning grin, intensifying my embarrassment.

Nevertheless, It was true.

A few weeks go by, with the same routine. Taehyung continues to make breakfast, which is always delicious. The business class with Mr. Gay Butts is a little less dull now. He often assigns us interesting tasks related to our major. During recess or lunch, we all hang out together, laughing and chatting. This is Jungkook's favorite part of the day, as he loves seeing everyone getting along. Afterward, we return to the dorm, but sometimes Jin invites Jimin and me for a sleepover. However, when I come back, I find Taehyung sulking because he wanted to watch a movie together. I quickly apologize, and it's just too cute.

It being Saturday, Jungkook had stayed overnight at Jin's dorm along with Jimin. Upon waking up on the couch, Jungkook was greeted with a pounding headache, regretting the uncomfortable position he had fallen asleep in. I sat upright, and gently massaged my pounding head. At that moment, the door swung open. 

Taehyung?

"Oh, Taehyung, what are you doing here?" Jin questioned, coming out the kitchen. "Nothing, the dorm was a bit empty." Taehyung said, while directly looking at me. Is he mad again? I couldn't help but smile at that thought. 

Taehyung took a seat on the couch beside me, taking out his phone, maintaining a noticeable gap between us that I found slightly off-putting. I scooted closer, "are you really mad at me again?" I sort of whispered. "what? no." Taehyung replied. "okay then. Let me tell you, we had lots of fun, watched movies, ate pop-" Before I could finish, Taehyung got up and left. 

He's definitely mad.
