"What did he say" Callie asked as soon as Miranda returned

"Huh" Miranda sat down at the table and quickly started scribbling the words to the song that came to her

"What did Ben say when you told him"

"I may have left some details out"

"Miranda"

"I need time okay"

"What are you writing"

"A song"

"A song? you're writing music? Miranda, you said you were going to talk to Ben"

"I did go talk to him" She sighed " But I got distracted"

"You had sex with him didn't you" She crossed her arms

"Don't judge me. Hey, where's William"

"He's upstairs. I have a keyboard in the spare room and he's jamming away on it. He knows some of your songs"

"Wonder how he knows them" She headed upstairs and slowly opened the door. She recognized the first song she had ever written and released.

"How do you know that" She asked him

"It's about me, right" He turned to her

"What makes you say that" She didn't answer his question but she did sit down next to him.

He turned back to the keyboard and started playing again before taking a deep breath and singing some of the words "Lost child in Baltimore, calling out. No one seems to hear you shout. Oh lost child in Baltimore. You're just a little baby in a big big world. Tears fall like rain as you call out your parents' name. Oh lost child in Baltimore. Don't lose hope. One day you'll find a way to cope. Oh lost child in Baltimore. Just keep holding on and stay strong. Because lost child you'll find your way back where you belong. " He stopped playing and looked at her "I figured it was about me" He shrugged

"Believe it or not it's actually about me"

"I thought you were telling me you wanted me back home" He sighed, his voice tinged with disappointment.

"My father told me I was a lost child the day I left and he would pray one day I would come back. So I wrote that song. However, there is a song that mentions you"

"Really" He asked

"Let's see if you heard it" She placed her hands on the keys and began to play " Baby you're like a flower. Blooming in the spring. Petals soft and delicate. But you'll grow to be so strong." She began to sing and he smiled "You're like a flower. A precious gift from above. With every passing hour. Can't help but fall in love"

"The world is filled with many colors. But you shine the brightest. With your bright eyes and infectious laugh. Baby, you're the nicest." He sang along

"So you do know it" She laughed " Beautiful flower. Blooming in the spring. Petals soft and delicate. My little flower. You're so elegant. A precious gift from above. With every passing hour. Can't help but fall in love"

"You wrote about me" He smiled

"I did" She nodded, "I told you, I thought about you"

"So I know you and my dad weren't stable enough to raise me but why didn't you visit or write" He asked

"Your grandparents and I have a very fragile relationship. But they were the best to raise you. I figured it was better to let you be"

"You really played the Oboe" He asked
