The Story of Sarah Wallace (Season 7)

Season 7 Episode 1 - Lost Time

It's late in the afternoon, as Sarah is cradling Erica feeding her a bottle of formula as Jamie and Jacob is eating toast. Erica begins to fuss in Sarah's arm and Sarah says "C'mon Erica, be a good girl and drink your milk" and Jacob says "Mum, can I go to Lukas's?" Sarah nods and replies "Sure, you can". Jacob asks "Can Dad take me?" Sarah shakes her head as she glances down to Erica who is guzzling her bottle of formula milk and looks back to Jacob "No Baby, he's got a lot on his plate right now. I'll drive you" Jacob asks "Is it because of Uncle Billy?" Sarah says "Finish your breakfast, you're Uncle Billy is fine" Jacob asks "Didn't he almost die?" Sarah scolds Jacob "Jake that's enough! You don't talk that way in front of your Father or your Gran alright" Jacob nods and Sarah says after a moment "Now go upstairs and get dressed and I'll take you to your Aunt Gemma's" and Jacob nods and gets up from the table and walks off out of the kitchen and Sarah deeply sighs.

James is walking down his staircase and he walks into the living room and looks around his empty house and his eyes land on a framed photograph and he approaches the large unit and picks up the photograph and smiles down at the photograph as his eyes land a younger James and his late wife - Rose and he mutters with tears in his eyes "I miss you Rosie" and a tear falls onto the framed photograph.

Later that day, Sarah is standing in the living room folding clothes as Jamie is playing with toy blocks as he is watching cartoons on the television. The front door slams shut and a moment later Sean walks into the living room and Sean smiles to Sarah and Jamie and Sean approaches Sarah "Hey Beautiful, where's Jake and Eri?"and Sarah smiles to Sean "Hey Baby, I dropped Jake off at Gemma's and Erica is upstairs having her nap...how's Billy?" and Sean crouches down to Jamie's level and kisses the top of his head and ruffles his hair and stands back up. Sean shrugs his shoulders and replies "Well I wouldn't know, he wouldn't talk to me" Sarah stops folding the laundry and puts her hands on her hips and asks "Still?" Sean nods and says "He won't talk to anyone, he's locked himself in his bedroom and won't come out. He hasn't left his room since he got back from the hospital, I'm at my wits end Sare. My Mum is looking to me for answers as if I've got the magic pill to make Billy better but I don't know how to help him" and Sean begins to cry and Sarah approaches Sean and kisses his cheek and wraps her arms around him and soothingly says "It'll be alright Baby, everything's gonna be okay".

At Marian's house, Marian is sitting on the couch with her hand palmed over her mouth as she stares in a trance. A moment later Eric enters the living room and he clears his throat making his presence known and Marian turns around and looks taken back and asks "What are you doing here?" Eric shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly "I just wanted to check up on you" and Marian stands up and says "I'm fine" and Eric steps forward, closer to her and asks "Are you really? Cause you don't look like it. Why don't we both just sit down and have a talk cause you look like you need it" and Marian sighs.

Sarah and Ryan are sitting at the kitchen table as they are both drinking cups of coffee and Sarah asks "So, how are you doing?" Ryan rubs his forehead and replies "Don't go there, Dad's trying but he's trying too hard and Connor hates me...he won't even talk to me" Sarah sighs and replies "Connor hates everyone, he doesn't adjust well but he'll come around don't worry and Dad's trying to make up for lost time give them both time" and Ryan smiles to Sarah and says "Thanks Sarah, I'd be lost if it wasn't for you" and Sarah smiles and replies "Don't be daft, we're family" and they both share a smile. Sean enters the kitchen as he pulls on his leather jacket and Sean says "Sare I gotta go meet Alex for a pint" and Sarah nods and replies "Sure, don't come in too late" and Sean smirks "I'll try not to" and Sarah asks "Do you have your key? Every time you both drink, you end up coming home at the crack of dawn" and They all laugh and Sean replies "I've got my key, just in case" and Sarah laughs and she looks between Ryan and Sean and asks "Why don't you take Ryan for a drink, he needs one" and Sean glares to Ryan and says "Nah, I'll pass" and Ryan looks down and Sean softly looks to Sarah and leans down and kisses her cheek and he walks out and Sarah calls out "See you in the morning" and Sean laughs as he exits the house. Ryan raises his eyebrows and says "Another one who hates me" and Sarah grasps hold of Ryan's hand and says "I don't hate you" and Ryan places his hand over Sarah's hand and smiles to her.

Marian and Eric are sitting on the sofa as Marian stares ahead in a trance and after a moment Eric says "I'm worried about you Marian, I know you've got a lot on your plate but you need to look after yourself" and Marian replies "I need to focus on Billy, he needs me" Eric replies "You'll be no good to Billy if you keel over from exhaustion" Eric places his hand on Marian's back and Marian turns her head and looks at Eric and smiles to him "Thanks Eric" and Eric returns the smile as he worryingly looks at her.

Sarah asks Connor to make an effort with their new found Brother 'Ryan'.
Sean has a meeting with Lale.
Marian kisses Eric.
