That night, Sarah walks into the house with an amused smirk tugging at her lips and she says "I'm back!" Sarah walks into the living room to see Jamie building his playing blocks and giggling and Marian and Eric standing talking but once they acknowledge Sarah's presence they become silent. Jamie looks up and shouts happily "Mummy!" and Sarah leans down to Jamie's level and extends her arms and says "Come to mama" and Jamie stands up and runs to Sarah and she scoops him up in her arms and smiles "My Baby, where's your Brother and Sister?" Eric interjects as Sarah stands up straight with Jamie in her arms attached to her hip "Their upstairs, Jake is playing on his Xbox and Erica is having a nap" and Sarah nods and Marian says in a questioning manner "You're looking very pleased with yourself" and Sarah replies "I cut Elliot off" and Marian asks "What do you mean?" Sarah replies "Sean apparently told Elliot to be my driver without saying to me and Elliot just swanned in here earlier expecting to drive my expensive car I don't think so. So basically I told him to follow me in his own car but I took off and I was too fast and he couldn't catch up to me and he ended up getting stopped by police" and Eric and Marian laugh and Eric says proudly "That's my girl". Sarah's mobile phone begins to ring and Sarah sets Jamie down on the floor and Jamie stumbles away back to his playing blocks and Sarah reaches into her front jeans pocket and takes out her mobile and looks to the caller ID and says "It's Connor" and she accepts the call and presses the phone to her ear.

In the hospital, James is sitting on a chair in the waiting room staring in a trance when after a moment Connor walks away from the coffee machine and turns around and walks towards James holding two plastic cups of coffee and he sadly looks to James and as he approaches his Grandfather, he holds out a cup out for James and James looks up and takes the cup of coffee from Connor's hand and says "Thanks" and Connor sits down beside a saddened James and says after a moment of silence "I called Sarah and told her what happened, she's on her way over. She's had to leave the kids with my Dad, think Marian's there too" and James nods and Connor says "Gramps I know you're in shock what happened was horrible but Jack will make it but you gotta tell me everything" and James looks to Connor as Connor continues "Tell me everything and I'll handle it" and after a moment James slowly nods.
