TW:/ abuse, brief topics of sa (sexual assault), and creepy ass men

So, as you all have been aware, there's been a lot of news coming out with Wilbur being a straight up abuser, Punz being racist, ableist, and George coming out to be a weirdo with giving an 18 year old alcohol (in America, to legally drink you have to be 21-years-old)  and inappropriately touching her (and then claiming the VICTIM, Caiti,  and her friends to make these up because they hate his friend group). Again, I know there are more topics of Punz possibly sa'ing his ex girlfriend (AND VICTIM, ANDI), Wilbur, too, and what George did, too, is sa'ing because Caiti was drunk and he was touching her without her consent.

It's been a while since I've been in the fandom. It's been years. But I'm not surprised as to what's coming out.

I support the victims coming out and being brave, being strong, and having the courage to speak out against these huge creators with big platforms. As of right now, I can't form my thoughts because it's crazy as to what is happening (but again, not surprising), so I just want to get to the point (do support the victims, though).

First Impression was created with good intentions from me when I was around 16-17 (I am now 19 turning 20). It was around the same time everyone was in quarantine so I made this book to comfort people.

But then, I came to see more allegations over Dream, came to see that my ignorance blocked out his previous racism and weird behavior, and as someone who is Hispanic, I was just uncomfortable with it all, so I left the fandom two years ago or so (I now watch v-tubers 🧍🏻‍♀️). 

I know this book is a huge comfort to so many, and even to me as Angelica, the main character, was a reflection of the emotions I felt during quarantine. But now, I can't see it as comforting due to what's happening right now. Angelica is the only character I truly find comforting and her personality due to everything (her hatred for Dream in the beginning was valid).

I was deciding to delete this book, but again, it has helped so many of you (I don't know how it's going to help you now, though, due to the victims) and me.

I am not in support of Dream or anyone in that friend group and haven't been for a while. I support the victims and you should, too, and if things comes out like "they were innocent", then that's them. I'm still not going to support them, but good for them. 

As of right now, I know Punz made his statement, I know George did his stream, and Wilbur did... that. Read Punz's statement or read summaries based on George's stream, if you want, but just know that if it comes out to be a misunderstanding, then, again, I wish them all a good luck.

This book will stay up but don't count me as a person in the fandom or who supports them. I once was a fan (stan) but I'm not anymore but I'm not going to make fun of people who are in the fandom. They are your interests, not mine, and I'm not going to judge you for it. Like what you like.
