Avinash POV:
I was sitting in my office, going through our new client's file when someone knocked on the door.
"Come in," I said.
As expected, it was Vikrant.
"Hey, Avi. All set for today's meeting?"
"Yeah, I was just going through some last-minute checks. You tell me, whom have you hired as my P.A.?"
"Well, it's someone you know very well. She is at the reception filling out some details. She will be here soon."
"She? But all my previous P.A.s were male."
"I know, but a little change will do no harm."
Suddenly, the door to my office flew open, and in came the most confusing yet captivating personality I've encountered so far. Everything about her screamed trouble, and it was hard to be around her for various reasons. Mind you, one of them was my lack of control over my desires.
"Bhaiya, why do I have to do so much paperwork? Don't you guys know everything already?" She entered, whining while ignoring my presence like air.
"Wait a second. What are you doing here?" I was confused by what she just said. Why the hell was she doing paperwork today?
"Avi, she is the person I selected to be your P.A."
"NOOO! Never! Vikki, you can't do this to me. You know I can't work with her."
"Oh, hello, Mr.! I am not dying here to work for you either," she responded with full sarcasm.
"Lucky me, then."
"You—"
"Wait! Avi, why don't you want her to be your P.A.? She wants to learn our day-to-day business policies. Being your P.A. will give her perfect exposure," Vikrant interrupted me.
"Vikki, sorry to say this, yaar, but your little sister is a snob and an arrogant brat!"
"Who are you calling a snob, mister?? How dare you call me, the only princess of Jodhpur, a Brat!"
"Yes, you are a snob. Miss snob!"
"If I am a snob, then you are a smug old man."
"Me old? I-"
"STOPPP!! Stop it, you two. None of you will speak a word now. Aadrika, you will be working under Avinash, and that's final. Anymore fights during this time, and I will throw you out of this office for good."
"Also, Avinash, the sooner you teach her everything, the earlier I will get you another Assistant."
Vikrant left my office but not before giving me a wink.
He is such a Bitch! I am going to screw him for doing this to me. Why can't he teach her himself? Seems like he is asking for some bad blood.
Okay, now instead of planning a fight, I think I should focus on the problem at hand.
"Aadrika, let's forget what just happened. Take it as... I forgave you. Let's start afresh with a proper greeting and introduction like a usual new employee."
