Last night was like a dream. A dream any girl could wish for. This morning flew by and history came. Me and Stefan were talking the whole lesson. Did you know Stefan was really good at football? You should've seen him! It was amazing. That's all we were talking about.
" pearl harbour?" Mr tanner quizzes the class but gets left with no replies and blank faces.
" nothing? Miss Gilbert?" I turn around and look at him.
" hm?"
" pearl harbour?" He looks at me with a ' you should've listened' look.
" um...."
" December 7th, 1941." Stefan answers and I smile at him.
" thank you, miss Gilbert!" He chuckled.
" your welcome." Stefan nodded.
"Very well. The fall of the Berlin Wall?"
"1989. I'm good with dates..sir." Stefan smiled.
" are you? How good? Keep it to the year. Civil rights act?"
"1964." He plays with his pen.
" John F. Kennedy assassination?"
" 1963."
" Martin Luther king?"
" '68."
" Lincoln?"
"1865." I sit there in utter shock.
" roe vs wade?"
"1973."
" brown v. Board?"
"1954"
" the battle of Gettysburg?"
" 1863."
" Korean War?"
" 1950 to 1953"
" ha! It ended in '52." He laughs.
" actually sir, it was '53" he nodded.
" look it up. Somebody!" Mr tanner shouted.
" it was...1953!" A random student shouted out. Everyone started clapping and cheering. He was amazing.

Later on I made my way to cheer practise. Caroline wasn't there, she's the cheer captain. We all did stretches.
I made my way over to bonnie.
" omg! You're here!" She got up and hugged me.
" yep! I can't be sad forever. The only way to get things back to the way they were, are to do things that were." I started to do my stretches.
" oh and you're coming over to dinner tonight!" I gave her no choice.
" am?" She asked.
" mhm! Me you and Stefan." She looked at me blankly.
"you have to give him a chance!"
" tonight's no good. You seen Caroline? I texted her a hundred times."
" don't change the subject Bonnie Bennett!" I laughed. " you're going to be there!"
" fine I'll go!"
After we did our stretches and finished talking, Caroline showed up with Damon...
" oh my god!" Bonnie said. " that must be the mystery guy from the grill."
We both looked over as Caroline kissed Damon.
" that's not a mystery guy, that's Damon Salvatore..."
