"Fáilte back, stonehead! Guess ye can't get enough treasure. Up fer another round?"
The stonehead sat in front of a gate. Upon that gate lay three skulls. Two small ones, named Skully and Skelly, and a larger, more distinct structure. The ringleader of this small circus.
Scotty.
He levitated off the ground via some unknown force, revealing a Bone Chest. Standard fare from the skeleton factory.
"Ready yerself! Guess where the chest be."
Scotty falls back down and the remains shuffle. The first round is easy, as Scotty always has the chest. The stonehead doesn't know if Scotty does this on purpose or if he forgets he looks different from the other two skull. The stonehead points, and a torch on the left of the gate alights.
"Wow! How'd ye know!? Ye must be a wizard!"
As per usual, Scotty and one of the others swap places. It happens to be Scotty, the one who always gets the treasure when they're out.
"Alright. Let's continue! Two more wins an' this chest be yers!"
Once again, they shuffle, a little faster this time. The stonehead finds the Skull Game particularly easy. But at least the skeletons are friendly. The stonehead points, and the right torch blazes to life.
"Gah! That's it! Show 'em your best, lads!"
They shuffle again, now ridiculously fast. But not fast enough.
"Ahhh, alrighty. Ye won, fair 'n square."
Scotty starts to levitate the chest, but stops. He raises his eyebrow.
"Say, we seem to play this ol' game an awful lot, don't ye think?"
The stonehead pauses. This is new.
"Ye see, I've got me this new chest recently, and it seems to be somethin' ye might find to yer fancy. But I don't wanna just play the same ol' game for it. But I can't seem to think o' any new ideas! This skull ain't what it used to be when it had a brain. Maybe ye got any ideas?"
The stonehead shook it's stone head.
"Ah. It be a shame, but I can understand-"
Scotty's eye sockets widened.
"Aye! I got an idea! Maybe ye can wander the Dark World fer some inspiration! I'd do it meself, but I can't really move all too well, as ye can see. Ye don't hafta, but I can't give ye this treasure otherwise.
The stonehead nods. After all, they love treasure.
"Aye, I can't thank ye enough!"
The stonehead turned to leave.
"Wait! I almost forgot! Ye won this treasure from our game earlier."
Scotty dropped the Bone Chest. The stonehead picked it up and somehow put it away, and left.
