"Misty give me my jacket back now!" Mimi cried. Misty was holding mimi's jacket against her chest with a sour look on her face.
"Yours?! This jacket is MINE! Clearly, it's WHITE. A variation of MY colour. YOUR colour is yellow!" Misty retaliated. Mimi scoffed.
"Y'know, white is technically EVERYONE's colour, right? AND the cuffs are yellow, my colour and so is the number at the front... the number three! My number." Misty opened her mouth as if she was to say something and then closed it again. She just pouted and threw the jacket at Mimi. Mimi slyly smiled and thanked Misty.
"You better wipe that grin off your face, metal mouth!" Misty snarled. Mimi scoffed angrily as she stormed off to her room. Soon after, Bud came into the living room . "Is everything alright here?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. Misty just pulled a face at him and went to her room herself. "Also," Bud shouted, "please, for the love of god, do not call Mimi 'metal mouth'. We are in a professional setting- not a public secondary school." Misty came back, gave Bud the finger and ran back to her room. Bud didn't react, he was used to this by now. However, Bud was rather concerned about Mimi, she was awfully sensitive, even a slight change of tone can break her. Bud made the decision to check on Mimi before going back to his studies, Charles Darwin's theory can wait.

Bud slowly knocked on Mimi's door gently. "Mimi, are you okay? I heard about the slight disagreement between you and Misty, and I wanted to check on you..." he asked. After the odd minute of silence, Mimi finally opened her door. "I'm fine, no one's shouting... yet."
"Yet?"
"Well, yeah, it's bound to happen isn't it, Bud? It's a house with seven teenagers and Clifford the big orange dog!"
"Fair enough... What were you two fighting over anyway?"
"Psh, hardly a fight really. It was just some petty argument over my jacket."
"Why?!"
"Dunno. But Misty got so petty that she called me 'metal mouth'... again!"
"She enjoys that nickname doesn't she?"
"Yeah... can't wait for the day she gets braces when it comes... who'll be 'metal mouth' then?" Mimi started laughing hysterically just about letting out a "thanks for checking in on me anyway, you didn't have to!" That's when she shut the door in Bud's face. Bud was left feeling rather relieved, he then proceeded to head back to his room.

Mimi sat down on her bed holding her jacket. She spread it out onto her lap, brushing her fingertips across the fabric- that's when she noticed a rip near the left sleeve. Mimi's heart dropped. Dude spent a lot of money on those jackets, the last thing any of them wanted was to ruin them. She sat stunned for a few seconds before angrily running to Misty's room.
"Misty!" She hissed.
"What do you want?" Misty replied.
"You ripped my jacket!"
"Ha! Dude's gonna kill you! Good luck!" Mimi suddenly froze. Surely dude wouldn't be that angry... right?
"...Go then?" Misty caught Mimi's attention again. Mimi slowly stepped out of Misty's view. Misty aggressively slammed the door. Mimi stared at the tear in the sleeve before running into the living room.
