She was not like the others. She wasn't evil with humans as her sisters. Her tail was blue like the ocean. Her hair was bright like the stars. Her eyes had the color of the sky. Her lips were soft like the sand. Her heart was big like the entire earth. She was Thalissa. Her name was inspired by the greek noun Thalassa, that means "Ocean". She was perfect in everything. But her sisters did't accept this. Thalissa was different. Her tail and fins were different, they were bigger than her sisters', making her faster, sometimes making her invisible with the colour of the ocean. She loved the humans' life, but she was also scared about it, her older sisters told her stories about them: "They kill the creatures like us, Thalissa. They hate us. Especially pirates". Was all this true? She lived with her sisters for seventeen years, but when she reached the eighteen years old, they isolated her. They were envious; of her beauty, of her intelligence, of her charisma. Her older sisters leaved her alone, making her go away from their lagoon, confining her to the open sea.
