Hi my name is Eleanor, and I'm 17 years old! I'm starting my junior year of high school in 2 DAYS! I'm super excited because I get to have a fresh start at school, maybe make new friends, get into student government, or even win prom queen in the future! Oh, what am I kidding with that one? Everybody knows me already, they know that I'm just a sad loser, and I will never be anybody, after that day in 8th grade.

It was the last week of 8th grade, and we were having our end of semester party for our gardening club. Me and my best friend, Felicity, had been planning this since the beginning of the second semester. I have been extra excited because this is the time I'm actually going to confess my feelings for Jackson Pennin, the best guy I have ever met. I have liked him since the first day of school when I met him.

I had been scared to talk to anyone, and he came up to me and said, "Hey are you alright? You look kinda nervous, and you haven't spoken to anyone yet."

"Well I'm- I-" I couldn't find the words because I was starstruck with his kindness towards me, a complete stranger, yet he did it anyway.

"It's fine, I get it, I'm a little nervous too," he said to me while patting my shoulder in a comforting way.

"Thank you," I said in a soft voice, almost inaudible.

And from that day forward, we were best friends, until that day in 8th grade...

I was finishing up blending the cookie dough for our variety of flower shaped cookies. I was making his favorites: Chocolate chip with honey nut cookies and coconut cream cookies, plus some other ones for other students too. I can't just make those two specific cookies for a whole club.

Felicity, My old Best friend, came in.

"Hey, are you almost done with those cookies? We are running a little late!"

"Yeah,I'm almost finished, I just have to put them in the oven for a while to

heat up," I said back to her with a raised voice.

"Hey don't you give me that attitude, young lady!" She said in an old lady voice, sassily and sarcastically.

"Sorry, sorry," I said with a smirk while I put my hands up in defense, "They'll be done in less than an hour,"

"They better be!" She said in the same silly voice, as she strutted out of the room.

I started laughing, but I quickly got back to work because I really was running low on time. I started off by putting the cookies in the oven. It was gonna take like 30 minutes to finish, so I decided to take a stroll in our beautiful garden our school has built for our club specifically.

I walked through the garden, taking in all the beautiful features it had to offer. Including its wide variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Everything here was so tranquil, it was my happy place, and if I had to choose a place in the school to sleep, it would probably be the garden. I've had so many memories here , all because of the Gardening club. That's why we are hosting this party because they made this year so so special for me. Especially Jackson and Felicity. I can't wait to repay everyone in the club during this party.

As I started making my way to the small waterfall, fountain thing (no one really knows) I started noticing slight changes in the sunlight. Seeing as the sunlight coming into the green house was more of an orange, I decided to head back and take the cookies out of the oven.

Once I got back to the kitchen I realized the cookies were already taken out of the oven and decorated, perfectly just like how I wanted them. I know I only showed Jackson the designs for the cookies, "so who did it?"
