When Earth was on the brink of World War two, something emerged from space that put all hostility to a halt.
A spacecraft that fell into the sun's orbit and pulled into Earth's gravitational force.
When it landed in Australia, they treated it with caution, thinking it was a German Nuke, but when they realized it was a spaceship, they contacted China, thinking they could decode the strange language the injured passenger spoke.
By the end of the month, the whole world knew of aliens. It took months to nurse the creature back to health and help it restore its ship, but eventually, all nations came to see him off.
Then, more aliens came to Earth, sharing technology and knowledge, all of their languages, and became friends with those who lived in the solar system, some beings even choosing to inhabit nearby planets.
When new messages appeared, many planets near the Milky Way were excited about the possibility of new technology and information, but the happiness soon faded when the Hornets were sent from System X under the rule of Emperor Zurg.
They invaded many planets, killing their leaders and making the people slaves and brainstorming their strongest warriors into mindless soldier who continued to capture planets.
When a German scientist finally decoded the message in 1958, it read, 'Surrender to the Hornets and the power of Emperor Zurg or Perish.'
That's when the war across the galaxies began.
