Living hell

Chapter 3

*marias POV and THOUGHTS *
I was so freaking scared I almost shit myself ! !! Mrs Lopez started to pay more attention to me then his dead secretary . He got up and started to limp towards me .

I backed away and mrs Lopez made his way to me . I tripped over one of this secretary's guts . With all this fear in my body I couldn't move .

I heard something behind me but I was too focused on mr Lopez then anything .
Mrs Lopez fell on the floor And fell on my chest . I put my hands around his neck so he couldn't bite me . But he was much stronger then I was . Dead or alive .

I hear foot steps coming my way and I can't help but to think it's one of them. A zombie that is . My arms are getting tried and I start to panic even more
I hear the door open and a smash . After that I don't remember anything .

*later that day *
I wake up to the sound of people arguing . I try to open my eyes but my head hurts when I look into the light .
"Why the hell would you bring her ? She might of been bitten !! Check her !" Said one voice
" she needed rescuing I'm not just going to abandon her ! I want her to wake up and tell me it's okay if I check . I don't want to invade her privacy " said the other one .

I tried to pretend I was still asleep but I accidentally let out a whimper . My head felt like a group of grown men where pounding on my head with sledgehammers

"Oh good you're awake " said a male voice
"Yeah I'm awake can you turn off the lights" I say while covering my eyes
" why?! So you can kill us? Huh! I knew it ! Matt you shouldn't have brought her here ! "
"Matt please turn off the lights my head is throbbing . I can't take it anymore " I whisper
Matt turns off the light . Grabs a chair and sits next to the bed I was placed on. I open my eyes and my head doesn't hurt as much as it did.
" hi I'm Matt .. Matt Espinosa " he said sticking out his Hand for me to shake . " oh and that's Taylor . " Taylor waved his hand in the air and headed towards the door
" I'm going to check the car and see if everything is ready for tomorrow. In the meanwhile I want you to check her and see if she's been bitten " Taylor says while grabbing his coat and Rifle and walking out the door .
" will do Taylor " Matt says while rolling his chair closer to me .
" so what's your name ? " Matt asks me
" oh my names Maria " I answered
" oh that's a pretty name. " Matt smiles at me and looks down starting to blush.
" can I ...... Would you mind ... If ... I ... Um" Matt muttered
"Yes Matt . It's fine if your check me for bites " i said . Matt gave out a sigh of relief and placed his hands on my arms looking all around for any bites .
" If I have a bite I would be bleeding already " I thought to myself

A half hour passed by and Matt was still checking me for bites .
" umm Matt I don't mean to be rude but are you almost done?" I asked
" oh yeah I just need to check your neck really quick "
He puts his hands on my neck feeling all around for a bite. His eyes were scanning my neck and started to move towards my face until we made eye contact. We were both looking at each other and he started to smile at me . I couldn't help but to smile back too . He quickly looks at my lips and then back to my eyes . He gets up and walks away from my bed .
Taylor walks in the room with a big smile on his face .
" it's good to see a smile on your face Taylor " Matt giggles
" hell yeah it is ! The car and everything else are ready to go . We leave tomorrow " Taylor says with an excited tone
" can Maria come ! She had no bites ! " Matt asks
Taylor looks at me and bites his lip. I can tell he's really thinking about this .
" yeah sure why not but we leave tomorrow "
" where are we going ? " I ask
" you'll find out when we get there "
