The Tale of Cupids

Charlotte's POV:

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as the cold breeze gently caressed my face. The refreshing scent of rain filled my lungs, making me feel alive. The sound of raindrops tapping against the pavement was music to my ears, and I couldn't help but smile. Rainy days were truly my favorite, as they brought a sense of calm and tranquility to my soul.

As I walked through the charming streets of the City of Love, I made my way towards the local library. It was a cozy little place that I often visited, filled with the sweet aroma of books and the gentle hum of turning pages. The library was my sanctuary, a place where I could escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and lose myself in a good book.

Upon opening the door, the little bells jingled, and I was soon greeted by Mrs. Thompson the library owner of this amazing place.

"Oh dear, you finally visited after a long time." She said using the soothing voice that I always loved to hear.

"I'm truly sorry Mrs. Thompson, work has been overloading these past few weeks," I said apologetically.

She laughed softly and told me to take my time and enjoy the books. I thanked her and wandered through the shelves, feeling the excitement of discovering a new world within the pages of a book. The rain continued to fall outside, but I was lost in the magic of the library, surrounded by stories and imagination.

I soon picked out a book with an interesting title that caught my attention "The Tale of Cupids "I knew it was kind of silly, but I have always loved reading fiction books. The adrenaline it gave me was powerful, the magic and imagination that always put an interest in my head.

I took a seat in my casual sitting area and started with my journey.

Once upon a time in the kingdom of Cupids, where love surrounded and evil vanished.

A glorious king and his faithful Queen ruled the kingdom with their intelligence and formality.

Thus, born the first prince, beloved by the people. This young prince had the intelligence of his father and formality like his mother. The sole heir and hope of the kingdom.

Yet, another was born, the second prince. Quiet and overshadowed by his older brother.

Always the second option.

The last option.

The kingdom had been in peace for centuries, and the king was now ready to pass his reign.

But the so-called beloved prince fell in love with a woman who doesn't possess the blood of royalty, but a blood that is dreaded by all, the blood of darkness.

A creature with pointy fangs.

A vampire woman.
A creature who belongs in the darkness and evil.

Afraid, the king had no choice, but to let go of his sole heir.

The first prince vanished from the kingdom together with his beloved. He became what the cupids were most afraid of becoming.

He became a fallen cupid otherwise called a Dark cupid.

A Cupid will become a Dark Cupid once it is vanished by its people.
Unable to control their power, whenever they shoot an arrow, it is unknown when one does get out.

Love or Hatred.

Despite turning into one, the first prince was happily settling with his wife in the darkness.

Because of their love and bond with one another, they had a son.

Their son was a powerful combination of both.

A Dark cupid and a vampire.
