Getting my textbook for class I turn around to see Wyatt hold a sign with a bouquet of pretty flowers in his left hand he looks down then back up at me I can tell he is Nervous to ask me something.
"Will you go to prom with me Audrey?" I can see his cheeks getting red "yes!" I give him a quick hug before I take my sign and flowers and put them in my locker as I head to class.
"Omg he asked you to prom!?" Hazel giver her mouth with shock. "When are yall going to kiss?" Justin said the whole table laughed
"Omg Justin be quiet I am sure this means nothing!" I roll my eyes knowing he asked me because he may like me. "The Lunch is surprisingly good today" I say taking a bite of the pasta man is this pasta good no wonder it is always gone within seconds.
"Hey Hazel and Audrey wanna go dress shopping after school?" Bailey smiles while drinking here water we Botha agree and plan to walk to the store once school is was over. The bell rings and we head to class "see yeah later!"
"Okay now in chapter six we see that David changes mood when his is talking with his mother why is that?" Mrs. Rachel says "because he had to move to a whole new sate which he did not agree on" the teacher nods before moving to the next question.
"Now his friend Baxter who we find out later turns out to be?" Wyatt raises his hand "his brother who he has never met before!" The teacher reply's "good job all of you!" She scrolls down on her mouse reading the next question for us to answer sometimes I can't even remember what happens in the book.
We pull up to the dress shops just in time as we see a worker at the counter "hello what can I help you ladies fine?" Hazel opens her mouth "oh just get to shop for prom dress for us!" The lead walks away as we follow her.
"Now what color where yall looking for?" She looks at me as I answer" maybe light blue!" I hope I can find one that looks good "okay try this on and let me know what you think" she grabs a light blue pretty dress from the hanger as I walk to the fitting room to try it on.

My friends gaps as I step out of the changing room "omg that is so pretty!" Hazel givers her mouth. "Yeah I may buy it!" I head back in the changing room to put back my clothes on. Hazel and Bailey also try on a few dress some looked ugly one of them was like a barf green color gross. We all say the haha and head out to go back home with our new dresses.
* few days later*
"oo this blush looks cute on me!" I dab the blush on my face "oh shoot I put to much on!" Carefully whipping away some of the blush. I finish putting my make up and here the car honk oh I think wyatt here I run downstairs and open the door. "Hey!" I wave as he steps out of the car my dad and mom wave bye to us when we walk out and close the door behind us.
"Ready?" He says starting the car then buckling his seatbelt. "Yeah!" I reply also buckling my seatbelt as the car drives off into the street.
We reach the school gym and he find a parking spot then we hop out of the car and make our way inside. When we get inside it is filled with decorations lights tables food and even a DJ I am not sure how they could flit all of this inside one gym but then again we do have a big gym so it wasn't a surprise we talk to where our friends where bad beginning to chat.
"Aww look how cute yall look together!" Hazel said trying not to laugh at us. "Oh shush Hazel!" I roll my eyes at her annoyed she dude this all the time.
"Come on guys lest go dance!" Bailey grabs my arm and drags me across the gym to where the DJ is playing music "fine but you own me something!" I sigh dancing to the music feeling embarrassed that people could be watching me at any moment.
"What would you like to eat?" The lady stays staring at me "oh I will take that please!" I point and she grabs it and puts on my plate then sit my friends and Wyatt "hey this is not bad" Wyatt says eating his food takeoff small bites. "Yeah it's good" I say chewing my food slowly
"Okay now it's time to vote for your prom king and queen later they will be relived and the king and queen will take some photos and then have a dance together!" The DJ speaks up as all the people come running up to put there votes in I wonder who will get picked maybe Me who knows.
*two hours later*
"Okay your votes are in the prom king is... Wyatt!" The crowd cheers and claps as he makes his way on stage to get his crown "and this year's prom queen is... Audrey!" I hear shouting and clapped from my friends as I make my way on stage.
"Congrats!" He smiles at me while looking at the camera "you to!" I smile back at him then back at the Camera man who is talking our photos. "Everyone clear the dance floor it's time for our queen and king to have their dance!" All of the people clear the stage and don't pay attention to us as we start dancing.
We continue to dance for a while till the song dies out and everyone is back on the dance floor. My friends all cheer for me as I walk embarrassingly off the dance floor to meet with them.
"Haha I took so many pictures!" Lucas says laughing looking at my embarrassed face "let me send them to you!" He smiles while still laughing opening iMessages then sending them . I hear a ding and see the message did whet though I scrolled through them eh I guess they were cute but still awkward.
"So no kiss I assume?" Hazel remarked still laughing at me. "Omg Hazel he was planning on it and neither was I!" Oh I so wanna slap them across the face but I resist the urge not to.
"Bye see you next week!" Wyatt waves to me while I hop out of the car and close the door behind me he gets out as well to say by to my parents "yeah see you next week!" He gives a tight hug before walking inside my house my parents open the door and wave by to him they then close the door and lock it.
