Chapter 4: The rumour

My mom pulls up to the school and stops the car "bye sweetheart!" She gave me a smile before leaving. I walk up the long stairs when I open the door I see and feel everyone's eyes on me some even giggle and some even look away when I reach my friends they look away "what happened hello!?" I wave a hand over there faces nothing it's like there being brian washed or something I just walk to my class hoping somebody will talk to me.

When I open the door everyone turns their heads away except my teacher "morning Audrey have a seat!" He gives me a smile as I take my seat I soon hear whispers from the back "omg she has no clue!" The girl's friend laughed "right how dumb!" She covers her mouth while giggling I am so confused as to what is happening all of my friends and classmates don't want to talk to me "okay class we are going to get into groups for this project so find 3 people maximum and get started!" He said smiling "if you have any questions raise your hands or come to my desk but first ask your group members and then come to me!" He turns to his computer and start typing "hey does anyone wanna be in a group with me!?" I look back and see my classmates turn and look away from me except one "I will!" Maria walks over and sits next to me "lest start!" She says pulling out her computer "omg thank you your the only Person who will talk to be beside the teachers!" I give her a slight smile before opening my computer to start work "wait you don't know what's happening?!" She give me a look like I should know but I don't "uh no wait you know about it?" I turn to her in shock "yeah the whole school know but it's best if you find out for yourself!" She turns back to her computer and starts typing. My brain is so confused what does the school know that I don't it feels like I am in a dream I shake my head and get back to work.

Once class is over I Try to talk to her but she keeps saying find out for yourself I have no ideas what it means so I just don't bother and go to my next class. My next few classes seems easy I finish all of my work and only have a few homework assignments but as lunch is approaching I why scared what it none talks to me or sits next to me I hope I understand what's happening first "Audrey pay attention we have a test this week don't want you to fail!" My classmates start giggling as I quickly get back on track. I get my lunchbox and head to the cafeteria to sit by my friends I wave at them but they ignore me once again I don't bother and sit with Maria I open my containers and start eating my bowl "so you really wanna know!" She says eating her chips "yes I do really!" Maria sighs before taking another bite of her chips "there is a rumor about you!" She looks away in embarrassment "WHAT AND NONE TOLD ME WHAT IS IT EVEN ABOUT!" I yell as everyone's eyes where on me "well the rumor is that your the one who sent Blake to the hospital!" " supposedly you where pissed at him and so you punched him really hard which caused him to bleed a lot and he lost so much blood he had to go to the hospital!" Maria take a bit of her carrot before looking back at me "I didn't do anything and I don't remember being mad at Blake at all!" I pick up the chair next to her and body slam it onto the ground.

I walk over to the front of the cafeteria and stared, watching as everyone looked at me " I have an important speech I would like to say!" I cleared at the students who looked rather confused, some where eating, and some where talking " wanted clear information I did not send Blake to the hospital. I don't know who got the idea from, but you were completely wrong, and for those who say I was mad Blake I was not. We were chatting about our history project that was can stop with the ignoring act. Because it's not true.!" I took a side of relief as some kids start to nod their head " and for my friends, I can't believe you ignoring me over a stupid rumor. That was fake. Maria was the only one who talked to me besides teachers she was there for me when none of my friends wanted to talk to me or tell me what was going on.!" at my friends who look back in embarrassment " now if you excuse me, I have to finish my lunch!" I walked back and continue eating " wow that was some speech you had to say!" Maria said she drank her water bottle " I mean I had to let people know I so annoying having people not talk to me all day!" I say as I eat my mango slices "it must be!" Maria says as we clean up our lunch and walk to class.

Audrey enters class but before she could take her seat she hear voices her name being called "Audrey Audrey Audrey!" She starts shaking her head. I slowly wake up turning left and right "omg Audrey you're okay!" Skyler's says hugging me as I blink a few times to remember where I am "what happened?!" I say looking at her confused "you fell when you were doing a cheer Stunt!" Skyler's gives me water to sip on "you fell hard and that's why you fainted for a while!" I slowly get up but I start to wobble I make my way to the bench and sit down "what a weird dream!"
