Marianne: "Guard. Here." The whistle of an arrow flies by followed by a gurgling sound. Leaves rustle as Marianne pushes forward once a quiet thump is heard. Upon reaching the next area she sees a ladder on the right. As the wood creaks a male voice is heard over the game. "Anne wait. There's a crossbowman up there."
The Marianne player now known as Anne waits patiently while a Robin attempts to kill the crossbowman. After four arrows and alerting the State that there were enemies in the Eastern Path the guard had finally died. Anne sighed annoyingly and said "Drew! I might as well of just gone up the ladder myself."
Laughter is heard over the game while another male says, "At least Drew is better at shooting arrows in real life than this game!" Anne rolls her eyes as she continues on into the Cemetery. She looks at the map and notice the rest of her team is going towards Memorial Garden.
More chatter over the coms while they continue to play. Some meaningless while some proved to be quite funny. "Hey Drew. Do you have your Ability yet?" an unknown male playing John asked. "Yeah, I do Randell. Why?" Randell sighs out, "The Sheriff is glitched, I can't pickpocket him. Can you shoot him so I can grab it?" There's a moment of silence before Drew says, "Yeah..... I can SHOOT him." Anne quirked her brow as to why Drew emphasized the word "shoot". However. Knowing Drew, they all should of expected what was about to happen.
The John sneaks into a bush next to the Sheriff waiting for Drew to take the shot. "Hey. Get a little bit closer so when I shoot him you can grab the key immediately and get to the Vault." Another Marianne on the team, who was played by Leon, questions why Randell needs to get even closer to the Sheriff." But, unfortunately the John listened to Drew anyways and inched closer and closer to the Sheriff.
Drew, trying his best to stop himself from laughing says, "Alright. You ready Randell?" Randell snaps that he is ready. Drew giggles out "Make sure to close the distance the MOMENT I launch my arrow!" By this point Anne was curious as to what was about to unfold. She had made her way on the inner wall between the Church and the Cemetery. She arrived just in time to witness...
Drew took aim and shot a normal arrow at the Sheriff. Randell upon hearing the shot rushed up behind the Sheriff but realized too late that it was a normal arrow. "DREW!! You bastard!" Randell roared as he tried to back away from the Sheriff. Unfortunately, it was too late. He got locked in the animation while the Sheriff turned around and executed him.
Anne, Drew, and Leon were all laughing while Randell was cursing his head off. After getting the revive the match was going seemingly well until it came time to extract the gold. The Sheriff had made his way over to the point without anyone noticing. Killing Leon and then Drew. Anne and Randell ran around screaming trying to keep the Statesmen off the point as well as keep the Sheriff away.
Finally. They got the revives, Leon threw a smoke bomb onto the point allowing them to swiftly clear off the point. Drew used his ability to down the Sheriff as Randell ran up ahead to clear out the Statesmen the moment they spawn on his side. Anne stayed near the point in case any made it past her teammates. Anne looked towards the other Marianne and said "Hey. Leon, do you need help over there?" Leon laughed and said, "With how good of a player I am, I don't need help!" Within seconds Leon's cocky response turned into screams of terror, help, and about how he made a mistake. Shortly later his talisman spawns. Anne laughs as she says "You sure you don't need help Leon? You know.. the more I think about it.. this bush is quite comfy. I don't think I want to leave it.." Leon pleaded with Anne to revive him even though she was already making her way to his talisman and then the point.
The Sheriff got back up and began making his way back to the extraction point. Randell and Drew ran next to him to lock him in the animation to give time for the extraction to complete. Right as Randell had been grabbed, the Victory Screen loads in. Anne leans back in her chair while glancing over at the clock on her wall. She jolts while mumbling, "Shit! I lost track of time. It's already 1 AM and I need to get up at 5!"
