Whisper nodded to the elf and motioned for him to come down. They needed to break the ceiling, but without the whole roof coming down on them. There was only one hall, the cells they were thrown in were at the end, and there was no other rooms but the storage room. No other tools.
Whisper had an idea of how to get the roof down. It involved the whole roof coming down, though. And it involved convincing the elf to go back into one of the cells, with her at its door.
She tried to gesture out what she was going to do, so the elf would understand why he was being told to go back into one of the cells, but she could not get her plan across.
She knew how to cave the roof in so they could get out, but the only part of the prison that was not bearing a broken roof was the jail cells. The only place they would not be crushed by the falling earth was the jails.
She attempted to wave the elf into the cell, and that went about as well as expected. His gaze became hostile, and he moved back, mistrust clear in his eyes.
Well, there was one more option. Less than ideal but it would get them both in the cell.
She climbed up the barred door with the elf holding it in place, eyes still watching her with suspicion.
And Whisper jumped.
Latching both her paws into the wide gap, and her weight and momentum crumbling the earth above.
Whisper tumbled down with it, and as the rest of the ceiling caved, Whisper ran at the elf and knocked him into the cell with her.
