Chapter Seven: the wolf Attack

Third person

As Sonic ran out of the castle and into the woods on the back of his Uncle's horse, some wolfs came out and attacked Sonic and the horse. They tried to get away but were out numbered. Sonic then fell of the horse and the wolfs came to him slowly but before they could bounce on him Shadow appeared and proceeded to fight off the wolf, he got hurt but he managed to get the wolfs off of him and scare them away with his rear, Shadow then turned to look at Sonic, he then felt lightheaded and fell down from exhaustion. Sonic thought he use this opportunity to escape with his Uncle's horse but then realized that the beast (that being shadow) had save him and he couldn't just leave him there, Sonic has a big heart and so he slowly walks over to the beast and takes off his hooded cape and covers the beast in it. "You need to help me, you need to stand" Sonic said to him. Sonic then helped the beast get up and helped him get on the back of the horse and they made their way back to the castle.

Sonic's POV

After we got back I put a rag in some hot water and looked up and saw that the beast was licking his wound. "Here now, don't do that!" I said to him. He growls at me and the other servants backed away slowly scared. "Just hold still" I tell him as I tried to put the rag on his wound but he kept trying to move it away, and when I finally managed to get it on his would he reared in pain and the servants hide behind the sofa. "THAT HURTS!" He yelled "well if you HELD STILL then it wouldn't hurt so much now will it?!" I yelled back "well if YOU haven't ran away this wouldn't have happened!" He protested. "Well if YOU haven't frighten me, I wouldn't have ran away!" I protested back. "Well YOU shouldn't have been in the west wing!" He argued. "Well you should learn to control your TEMPER!" I argued back, he then paused knowing that I wan this argument. "I...I can't help it." He said. "Well how would you know if you don't try?" I asked. "I-I apologize, I didn't mean to hurt you" he said I laughed a little and tell him "apology accepted!" The servants then come out of hiding surprised that the beast actually made a sincere apology "now hold still, this might sting a little" I tell him and then put the rag on his wound. He tensed a little. "By the way, thank you, for saving my life" I thanked him. He then looked at me surprised "you're welcome" he said. "By the way, I didn't get the chance to ask for your name" I said to him. "It's Shadow" he told me. "Nice to meet you Shadow, I hope we can get-along better from now on" I said to him
