Chapter 12: What Now?

Pomni and Ragatha return to the camp out, and Kinger walks over to them. "Where is Jax?" Kinger asked. "Um...Kinger... I'm sorry... but Jax... he-" Pomni trails off and rubs her arm. "He's...gone." Pomni finishes. "Oh." Kinger says. Ragatha walks to the overalls that she was making for Jax and she hugs them. "Ragatha... you oka- no... of course you're not... um..." Pomni says.

"I wonder if there is a way to reverse it?" Kinger suddenly says. Ragatha looks up at Kinger, and she smiles at him. "Well... what do you think we should do...?" Ragatha asks Kinger. Kinger thinks for a moment, but then he looks at Pomni. "Oh! Hello, Pomni!" Kinger exclaims. Pomni jumps back. "Anywayssss... Kinger... what can we do to reverse the corruption?" Pomni asks.

"That's simply, Pomni! We fine the source of the infection... kill it... and everything should be normal! It's like a computer virus, and because it infected Caine... the world died... sooooo, if we find the original abstraction that caused this, and destroy it." Kinger explains. "Wow! That's not a bad idea, Kinger." Ragatha replies.

Pomni sighs and looks up at Kinger and Ragatha. "Let's do it... what do we have to lose?"
