Lucy Wyldstyle may be the first civilian premier in almost two years, but the military junta remains very much in place. Now, however, it seems that the veteran hero and republican is working to change this.
Today, in a large speech before the Assembly, Wyldstyle announced her intention to form a unity government of parties committed to Democracy, and her willingness to negotiate with any leaders and officials who share her ideas of a potential Republican state.
Queen Watevra is yet to comment on this development, but many of her supporters have reacted with alarm at what they see as the beginning of the end of the junta, while others believe that only this can restore galactic unity. Meanwhile, Wyldstyle's own allies are known to be in talks with a range of differing Democratic parties.
