As we seek to reform Syspocalypstar, we must also work to reform the economy, if we are to ever have the resources to liberate the galaxy. To this end, Premier Lucy has received two proposals.
First, Prince Rex Dangervest of Stardust, leader of the Defensive Rally, urges Lucy to pursue a policy of economic deregulation, slashing taxes and provisions for worker rights in order to enhance the "productivity" of private business.
On the other hand, Princess Unikitty of Unikingdom, an influential member of the Liberal Party, as well as the deputy and best friend of Princess Marie Stardust, wants to pursue a program of a freer market with some protection by the government and achieve cooperation between all classes of society to ensure social stability and justice, to prevent vested interests from hindering the Liberation.
