DAHLIA QUICKLY SETTLED INTO cabin4. She got a member of Meg's friendgroup and so spent most of her time with the red-haired girl. Her favorite traditions were definitely the picnics in the strawberry fields and setting little traps for unwanted people around the cabin. She enjoyed her new home, the house overgrown with plants and wild flowers. She laughed a lot when people stumbled on the way to the entrance from their suddenly appearing roots and vines.
In the morning, as Dahlia ran to breakfast with her cabin counselor, Miranda intercepted her.
"Chiron wants to talk to you." she said and Dahlia felt her heart begin to beat faster. The girl couldn't imagine what the centaur wanted from her.
„Why?" Dahlia asked.
„He didn't tell. Don't Tell me u got into trouble, I have already enough to deal with Steve and Helen!" she then said strictly and the blonde girl got a bit scared of her.
„I didn't do anything." she said. Miranda calmed down and put her hands on her hips.
„Well then I don't know what he would want. Go to him after breakfast, to the big house. Be polite and don't say anything stupid! Don't complain and don't try to negotiate anything. Understood?" the girl said in a serious tone. Dahlia nodded in response and went to the Cabin 4 table with a sick feeling in her stomach.
After breakfast, she went to the big house and stopped before it. She took a deep breath and told herself, that she didn't do anything wrong, except teasing some kids and sneaking out after curfew one time with Luke. But that was the first night at camp and already weeks ago. She couldn't sleep, so Luke had taken her to the beach and they talked the whole night. Dahlia stepped onto the porch of the house, where she met Mr. D.
"Uh.. Chiron wants to talk to me." she said, shifting her weight nervously from one foot to the other.
"Wait till it's your turn brat!" the man said unkindly.
„Nobody's here." Dahlia said, looking around. The God lifted his sun glasses.
„Well maybe that's because ur in the wrong place girl." he said. Dahlia raised an eyebrow, as what he said didn't even make sense.
